Dai , there are things going behind the scenes in Iran I am sure . The people of Iran are sick of the Auatollas if you believe the BBC . I am sure it’s much difficult for US to get rid of him then it was for Maduro so they are trying something behind the scenes . We may never know until it happens. I have Iranian friends and I know what they would like but it’s difficult with their families still there . I know if there was a scenario where Zi had to choose where would I rather live in Trumps America or under Khameni , Maduro , Putin , Xi or Kim , I know the answer .

Probably true but then you see Venezuelan and Iranian people dancing in streets so may be not too bad a thing toppling government there . Unlike Russia they didn’t wage war against Venensuela just took its dictator out of the way in matter of hours .

And that Ukrainian mineral deal means nothing until the war comes to an end and even then it will take billions in investment to get Ukraine infrastructure up and running .

May be the world is changing rapidly with Russia China North Korea amassing and increasing their militaries whilst Europe stagnating . America can’t depend on Europe and taking proactive actions to safeguard itself from future aggression.

Or may be it’s the rare earths China has the dominance of and the US so desperately needs .

Either way it’s not good and hopefully a resolution is found which is palatable to all parties.

Guys if you look it from American perspective, Greenland is vital for American security for early missile warning systems , submarine alerts and so on from the arctic side . You can say they have a base there but they have mostly been responsible for holding the NATO fort there since 50 odd years and they don’t get anything in return. Europe can’t even defend its eastern flank from Russia without American help let alone it will save Greenland if Russians attack that . On top of that Denmark thousands of miles away ruling Greenland and as I found out today ran a genocidal programme of contraception of indigenous Greenland women for decades for which it has now apologised. How can they have a moral high ground .

If I am an American taxpayer I will be thinking what are we actually getting protecting Greenland and much of Europe in return?

Politics and rhetoric aside that’s my take on this after reading enough articles in the last few days .

Good stat but you must know most of FTSE 100 companies earn their money outside the UK mostly in America and in Dollars . So if you want to put that responsibility of their rise you know who to pin to rather than Starmer .

Also - I add £2880 into my SIPP every year, so I get the free £720 kickback from HMRC. Another no-brainer... It is a stupid tax perk mainly designed to allow non-working spouses to stash a few quid away

SIPP or self invested personal pension is to incentivise millions of self employed people to save for a pension which they haven’t been doing . For every £80 you put in the government adds £20 to the pot so a 25% gain is great but can only be accessed after you turn 56 or 58 very soon . So I don’t think it’s a stupid tax perk for spouses to stash a few quid away .

I feel it has been such doom and gloom since they announced the date of budget and subsequent leaks that most bad news is priced in most shares . If tomorrow isn’t as bad as dreaded there could actually be a relief rally in the coming days .

There is always market tantrum initially and when more details emerge the trend get back on track for most companies.unless you are overweight in anything then stay out imo .

Companies like HEX shouldn’t be affected by UK budget .

Dai …. You are right regarding Helium 1 . If it goes down to those levels you mention then the rise could be massive on good news like last time .

I made a good amount following Tro’s conviction at .19 and it went on to do a 15 bagger. It was one of the best return on investment for me ( thanks to Tro ) . The important thing is to be in as close to a bottom this time too . But the MC last time at .19 was very small around 5 million if I remember correctly may be less .They have since diluted so much .

When Lorna starts doing some proactive interviews may be time to jump in ?

Thanks to your WSBN , I had a little break last month. Now hoping HEX / Rock or even what I still have in WSBN can fund the next one .

Dai I am sure there must be a better way to do it / find it but atm I do it the old fashioned way , spend 15 mins at the end of day . Might not be accurate but gives the general direction .

Kev CGNR missed it this time . Doubled my money last time when PP mentioned it here from 3p to 6p from memory. I think it’s to do with settlement with past snd present directors fees and more financial headroom according to the last RNS and obviously Gold is in trend .

Talking of trend all pharma stocks exploding today . Hold HEMO for so long , nothing seem to happen , sold few days ago and it rose 400% in last few days .

Hopefully some others I am in , atleast one does a WSBN and all will be forgotten lol.

WSBN raised at 1.25 ( 1.5 million )this week as I expected. I think this placing was forward sold as the volumes were high and this should be already churned as almost 3.5 million more buys than sells this week . WSBN has a habit for placing every 3 months so we should be ok for couple of months with lots of news flow .

Also CDL raised twice in a matter of days 900k and this should also be churned as 1m more buys than sells this week .

ROCK starting drilling in September and the SP has risen this week in anticipation. They last raised not so long ago .

Another one is FDR drilling soon , may be next week . Lots of buying this week .
