TicoR, You can buy a premium membership from this site which costs about £20 per month. That gives you access to L2 and so you can see the order book. Tbf, it's not the best as it has a habit of crashing now and again but it's way cheaper than the alternatives that I have seen.

Babbler is right. Depending on your broker, they'll just transfer them into a standard trading account for you and hold them there. Alternatively, they can issue you the paper shares, usually for a small charge. Your choice. No drama.

Raise would be needed to restimulate wells but would put the company back on a sound financial footing and given today's mcap, should rerate I would have thought? As for today's price action.. Who knows. But someone thinks they do.

I rather like this option. Court cases are never without risk. However the reward could be full value which is c£180m and there is always the possibility of a pre court settlement. With regard to the legal opinion, if a serious law firm takes this on contingency, they will not be over playing the upside. Now, the case may take several years but that's worth it if full value is achieved imo. Any views?

I do see your point. I imagine they are constrained by the NDA's? Would them confirming that they were in discussions on a JV or sale be helpful? Perhaps but I'm not sure. Anyone wanting to launch a hostile bid is at liberty to do so but I doubt that would happen until the Leben issue is resolved one way or another.
In fairness to them, I don't think Leben's actions were foreseeable. Had that not happened, I do think the permits would probably have been granted (though your one thing after another comment is very valid) On the downside, they still can't write an RNS to save their lives and the timing of this one is not a good indicator of the way the discussions are going with the Slovenians imo.

Fx, I would say with reasonable confidence that they were looking at a JV. They did/do have at least one co interested and the permit itself wasn't a barrier. The Leben action is the barrier. My understanding is that they remain interested subject to resolution of this matter. Going the legal route is potentially very lucrative but we by no means would guaranteed to win. A no win, no fee lawyer would be the way to go.
