Amigo may not be £1 tomorrow, but regulated companies of this type will be a massive part of the Uk’s recovery.
Whatch this space....
I don’t think you are far off the mark, other than I think it is/was the bond/note holders directing Amigos position.
I will be absolutely amazed if an agreement can’t be made.
I know guys that have had the government COVID loan and paid their mortgage off with it, is it Knock Knock or do we the tax payers foot the bill?
Bond/note holders are not daft, there is massive changes coming.
The government will soon see when all those COVID loans go into default, as long as Amigo are still afloat to see it happen “things will change” Gla
Personally I think the business is very much needed, some tweaks yes, where would we be without the likes of Amigo?
No place to get money for those struggling, loan sharks yes, prostitution yes, theft yes, car jacking yes and many other unsavoury activities.
At some point unless someone stands up, this cottonwool country is going to implode.
No worries, I’m more feared of the Mrs than loosing my investment, there is still legs in this ( I believe) depends on RA.
Plenty more fish in the sea as they say!
Was in ESL for a while whilst Truthfactory played the other side, I managed to make a profit.
Us that hold/promote the share/company are not as daft as we seem.
Let me explain my position.
I 1st invested in sou, could have made a few quid but got greedy a lost a few quid. 2017 put my life savings into FRR, delisted in 2019 I think it was!
Took out a loan ( everyday loans) to give me some spare cash, paid that off after 8 months & started investing again.
To date I have not lost money on any share since.Bur,itv, capita, webis, ide, clco, mtro,rr to name a few, have all given me a good return.
This is now my one and only holding for the time being, whilst I applaud your concern for us invested, we are able to make are own choices. Gla
Where I come from taking the p1zz is the norm.
Can’t take life too seriously, work hard and enjoy the time off when you get it.
Might have something to do with the 24 pubs in our little town lol
Go on prolapse Yuri wants a tick up.
Anyway, apologies for stooping so low it's now wine time.
Night girls!!!
Hypothetically, if I bought more shares in Amigo after reading the courts judgement (which I very much did) & believe what we have been told by both the FCA & Judge, that it is not likely that Amigo would be in financial difficulties in the near or medium term.
That there you could take as financial advice, should things now go **** up there is numerous amounts of No win No fee companies out there that may be willing to listen.
"Hypothetically speaking"
And that explains why we need to know!!!
You sound very much like an intelligent person, did you not carry out this research prior to purchasing shares here?
Maybe tell the dog or cat why you sold out if you need reassuring.
Thought so.
There is certainly some sad folks about with to much time on their hands.
Seems to me FOMO is the devil in play!
Yuri
Am I correct in thinking you sold out here?
Amigo's decision to stop lending.
On 24 March 2020 we took the decision to pause lending to all but key workers in exceptional circumstances to enable us to work with our existing customers and provide forbearance where requested and necessary. As a result of our special Covid-19 forbearance program announced on 24 March 2020, our teams have provided forbearance to approximately 42,000 customers. The trend of requests has slowed through May and we are confident that we have sufficient resources in place to work with our customers and help with their recovery when the forbearance period ends.
Maybe time to start lending again!
Prolapse, we all know the risk here, you need to change the record
Yuri
Yes we know you are no longer a shareholder here but be careful what you are saying.
“Deception” this is not LA Law, both the Judge & FCA believe that Amigo can come back with a better offer through the SOA. Amigo offered what they thought was in the best interests of all parties including keeping the circa 300 employees in jobs.
Amigo have been told to come back with a better offer for the claimants, end of.
If those in control at Amigo are able to come up with a better plan then great, if not then it’s good bye.
Did some of the claimants not deceive Amigo in the first place when getting the loan?
Not there fault though!
Trebled my holding today, my money my choice.
I do believe this will be resolved and Amigo will come out the other side (positively).
If not then my problem. Gla
I’d be more worried if I couldn’t sell!
Someone picking them up
of Trades 3,921
Vol Sold 41,440,020
Vol Bought 49,517,020
No problem here.
I’m afraid I’m old school, if you can’t afford it then don’t get it. If you have to have it then make bloody sure you can afford it.
I’ve seen parents drop there kids off at school in a morning, wearing there pj’s, given a tub of Pringles for breakfast.
Parents drive off in a 20 plate BMW with a fag on!
Come on people get a grip.....RESPECT
