Another strong finish to the day!
I have had conversations over the last few days with other holders, they all share the same thoughts as we touched on a few days ago.
How likely or credible I'm not sure, but certainly possible!
Burfords final dividend payment is being used along with other funds to purchase their own shares prior to releasing them at a higher value onto the American market.
Certainly makes business sense!
Puts pressure on the shorts, pushing the SP higher.
They do have the option to purchase but would they have to notify the market of their intent, or when the transactions are concluded?
If this is the case then we can assume all is going well with the listing!
As I've said, this is only a theory, but adding together the MM's call for shares the other day ( if we are to believe in codes) Gladstone again reducing their short position and the strong finish the last few days.

Not sure how it works Armada, but they did vote through the option to buy back shares, at the AGM.

The company have already stated that the dual listing will take place before half year results are out, which could’ve late September!

Yet through it all, Litigation Finance is enjoying a surge of opportunity.

In the first four months of 2020, Burford said it "has obtained court results or arbitral awards that, if paid in full, would generate substantial income and cash receipts". This includes close to USD800 million of cash receipts and over USD450 million of balance sheet cash receipts, as well as over USD500 million of income.

"The expected cash receipts should provide a meaningful addition to Burford's already healthy cash liquidity to reinvest in new matters," said Burford.
