Whoever it is, their investment can only be a positive endorsement.
In the meantime, I have taken advantage of the drop from 13p and picked up quite a few more.
I am happy to sit for 2 - 3 years and then see where we are.
Some people (like me) have held this for a while from quite low prices.
Either they now have portfolios that are so top heavy that they need to sell, especially funds that have mandates that stop them from holding too much of 1 stock for risk purposes.
Or they take some of the great profits and recycle them into similar stock that perhaps have more upside ie JLP.
For those not already in the know.
I think that the fact that we have held above £1 even with all the selling bodes well for this now acting as a support for further onward movement.
I guess the next set of results and the possible special dividend are likely to drive the next spurt upwards.
£1 is looking a tough phycological barrier to break.
Though I think when we do we will push past it and unlikely to drop back below.
Today Barclays raised their target price from 60p to 70p..........when the actual price is......
I cant believe that the last of the shorts have not been closed... it has been a slow but steady rise for some time.
I would love to buy into the rise, but on no news it is far to dangerous to do so.
You ask why... any share that Parsons is involved in... beware either the P&D or the rise into further dilution being announced.
I would love to be proved wrong but history is usually right (no I am not a deramper I own some of these)
Before anyone takes any action against Parsons et all, they do need to understand the terms of leaving for these individuals.
Often it is written into the settlement agreements on leaving that the company will pay any legal fess arising from actions related to their time of employment with the company.
If that is the case, then taking legal action could in effect be the route to actually bankrupt the company by having to coverg for legal fees... so I suggest someone checks this before commencing on a course of actions that may remove any thin chance we have of getting some money back.
Nice climb in price for the year end Basket Average.

I love the smell of shorters burning in the morning !
I assume that the remaining shorts will start closing soon, helping the upwards move.
$15750...is that a record.
The effect on our basket price must be to push it to an all time high ? I think the talk of £1 per share is becoming to look very conservative now, and I wonder what happens if the board decide on a decent divi based on an ongoing % of cash generated each year ?
Take your pick...
Last pump and then dump before the finish or
Someone leaked something ?
On top of the lowish SP relative to worth, the basket price keeps on climbing with Rh at $14650 at the moment (Metals Daily pricing), that will just multiply the cash generated if this sustains.
I think we may see a steady rise during October as the ex dividend date gets closer, as clearly some the the SP weakness is due to short term investors jumping ship due to the lack of a 'major' dividend.
It would be interesting when the BOD is ready to set the special dividend if it was set a 6 - 8% level and indicate that they would keep it there (subject to basket prices), with some suitable marketing that would make us attractive to major income funds as they are starved of income at the moment.
It would have been nice to get a stonking dividend, that would have shot the SP much higher.
However, money keep building up in the bank balance, and unless the BOD decide on a massive expansion, then eventually this will either be paid as a dividend or as people have said a predator will be unable to resist all that cash and the SP will rise as part of a t/o. As long as we get cash for a take over, a swop for shares would NOT be acceptable.
Personally I think the dividend will be announced around the end of 2020 and at that point the after burners will be lit.
100p target price
Topped up again at this price in advance of the results and hopefully a good dividend.
It looks like there are some large buys going through and once these have been met a wonder if we will see a sudden rise again ?
Cant see the volume but......
