XIndonesia, the world’s biggest palm oil producer, will ban all exports of cooking oil and its raw materials amid a local shortage. The move adds to a raft of crop protectionism around the world since the war began as governments seek to ensure local food supplies. Argentina, another major vegetable oil shipper, has raised export taxes on soybean oil. One industry broker said the decision by Jakarta will cause “mayhem
Interesting overview of battery technology being pushed by US tipsters.
Ilika well placed it seems.

I can’t understand why the phase 3 of Activ 2 hasn’t started. There are so many cases in the USA they could at least be dosing SNG001 before deciding on the comparator.
It just seems as though Fauci has lost his mojo after personal attacks and threats. The trials no longer appear to be being pursued with the urgency that they had initially.
Does anyone know if they have started.
December completion just seems so unnecessarily slow.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2022/01/21/britishvolt-wins-18bn-build-uk-gigafactory/This article seems premature. No IP just hot air. Looks like a Bojo hype - an ex trader and a dodgy swede ?Lots of hot air and I won’t be investing in it.
What annoys me and maybe the reason other shareholders are selling is the company raised the funds to build the transmission line in March. I subscribed to that capital raise and the announcement said :
“ Use of Funds
The net proceeds of the Placing, along with existing cash, will mainly be applied by Tlou towards:
· Construction of a 66kV transmission line from the Company's Lesedi project to the existing electricity grid at Serowe, Botswana; and
· Field operating costs and ancillary equipment
The Company plans to commence work as soon as possible on the transmission line following award of tenders for the construction of overhead transmission lines and sub-stations. The Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for the line has been completed as well as route alignment and associated surveys.”
So the money was used for some other purpose and now they have borrowed more for the same thing.
Antony Matchett promised regular exciting updates when he was raising the initial funding for the Napster deal. He also promised to make a substantial investment at a higher price in the 2nd round.
He hasn’t delivered on either promise and his finance guy called Backhouse was just watching football when the deal was in difficulty having to raise a further $5m to satisfy the auditors on going concern issues.
They have failed to do any of that and I now hear Matchett goes around with a minder bodyguard (or at least that’s how the guy is described ) at our expense.
I trust the big institutional investors are going to shake up this management very soon.
We should have heard about the migration of Napster to the cloud with a new app which was the supposable key move to improve Napster.
If you are a gambling man you must work out the odds.
In Synairgen’s case we LTHs believe , as does Professor Holgate, this product works. I am an asthma sufferer from smoking and have been invested here for a longtime.
The odds are clearly 10 to 1. Maybe more.
As I believe our product works these are incredible odds available. Very few other horses running in this race.
I have put my money down, trust the management who I feel are first class and 100% honest. Honesty is a very rare commodity on AIM but here we have it.
So I’m happy to hold and get friends to invest. Something I’ve never done before.
I’m not sure I need to wish us good luck. This company will make a difference to how the world lives and that is the most important consideration.
Only slides on website although company promised to put the webinar on their website.
Why on the slide showing how they get to 80% do they not show how many by country & if they have filled their quota in certain countries like UK & USA.
I have trouble believing they couldn’t recruit 600 people in the USA alone in 7 months.
Somehow I feel Mr Marsden is being evasive with the presentation.
No questions allowed & analysts only.
SNG is a binary gamble - either it is proved to work safely or it fails the trials. However in my view the odds are in our favour at approx 10 to 1. If it works you win 10 - if it fails you lose 1. I feel the odds are a lot lot better than 10-1 - in fact more like evens. So it’s a good bet and I think we’ve already hit the straight and are in the last furlong.
Luke Lango tipping Ilika in the USA.
