saw that you mentioned these on RBS, and how you were looking to balance your portfolio.. I'll mention this on this page, as I will get shot down on TW.. I did get a wink wink from somebody in TW saying he has been told the deal will be before xmas and it should be on good terms (he hasnt let me down before). Might be worth a quiet dip in to see.. They are looking for a long term finance package, as others as gone for a shorter term deal and will need to re finance again before long.. DYOR as normal.

Some people are still interested in the actual holding of the company, i.e. the mine and land.. And the long term outlook for it.. It may turn out that it turns out to be the best mine in the country??, then again it may turn out that there is not enough gold in it to make a "lookie lookie sellers gold watch for Tenerife"

I read this as: the potential acquiring party is not willing to make the move until the market recovers.. Could be a longer wait than most people anticipated

This share reminds me of a warning my friends use to give me.. A one night stand is good, and there is nothing wrong with that (even if it doesn’t look that good, put it down to experience and get what you want out of it), a second dip in and it can be put down to the drink.. And you can get away with it (although you get allot of stick), a third dip in is a full blown relationship.. And do you want to get into a relationship with something that does not look that good?? i.e. if this SP drops down again I'm not going back in..

Please dont start all this again, unless this is based on a fact?? Is it? Or just your view?

I understand your position. It wasnt a pop at you or anyone else, just a honest view.. If you think there is more to this then at the end of the day, you are making the investment, so you are the only one who can make the call, GL, and I do hope it gives a good return.

Not Ramping or De-ramping, just being honest. Q1: Is a deal to be done, A1: 50/50.. Q2: What price per share will be offered A2: general expectation 3.25p?? Q3: Are people thinking, I will make more out of the deal than selling now?? A3: Yes Seems to me that allot of people are being greedy and thinking the deal will be more than expected, in a time when finance is expensive due to banks etc unwilling to lend. And the mining sector is on its knees… Greed.. A funny thing.. I was happy to sell at a profit and take the guaranteed amount. Even though I may have got another 0.25p per share.. P.S. I was being greedy on the first run on this expecting more than the high of 3.4p.. And all this when a deal may not even be done.. It has taken along time ??

Just had a quick look... Saw a Ex Dividend was due on the 10/12/08 for 0.23p, is that still on or have they dropped it?? Then I saw: Marwyn Materials today confirmed it is the potential bidder for cash-strapped aggregates group Ennstone. Marwyn is the investment vehicle of Peter Tom, who used to run Aggregate Industries. Ennstone yesterday said it would need to renegotiate its quarterly banking covenants and raise money before the end of the year if an offer is not made. "Since the last trading update, issued on 15 September 2008, trading conditions have remained difficult, with the UK business in both the English Midlands and Scottish markets experiencing reductions in volumes and coming under significant pressure from the lack of new development and housebuilding activity," yesterday's statement said. Not the best area to get into at the moment??

I do have a issue with spelling.. I always have.. And the teachers always said I would not be able to go far without this skill... How wrong were they..Also I use spell check allot which does not help... In simple terms, I was trying to say, in a roundabout way. There are many people out there in the know... But really they don't know allot.. And they are actually guessing… with no real firm evidence.. P.S. I did use the spell checker on this :)

I know someone in the know as well (check out the biggest shareholder of SRB a representative of these) and he laughed at me when I told him invested here, on the original news.. He did say "dont you think we would of doubled are investemnt here, to regain the loss".. thats how much confidence they had..
