RE: 8000% for total losers10 May 2021 18:16
I've worked in retail all my career across 20+ retailers as a consultant and in my last stint at Holland & Barrett, I saw incredible growth in ethical sales. Customers will pay a premium for ethical products. If the technology works, is scalable and we get close to griddle parity, the opportunity is huge. We don't need a huge piece of the market to succeed and there is room for many players so I'm not worried about competition, it's actually a great thing as it helps create the market. There will be customers who don't like the idea for themselves but will happily give it to their pets (who eat 30% of all meat produced). My view being here at 28p is that less than £1 whenever we exit would be disappointing given the risks of this type of share. If the market adopts this is a meaningful way however, who knows!
