Nonsense, a holding pattern would be at say 28.5pence. The constant downward pressure is evidence of no confidence.

Kensho, my view on this share is I can’t see a lot of downside from here. I think retailers like B and M will do well going forward,even though Labour are not liked they are at least a stable government.

Will Rachel increase business rates on larger retail units, that’s not known, so I’m just sitting tight for the announcement mid November and if positive, I will probably increase my holding here.

Hello Senator, yes I’ve read your posting history ‘trading financial stocks during the GFC’. It happens, people do get laid off, I get it, the angry confrontations, your no longer needed by the big buys, they dispense with your services.

Tough one to tell the wife, or the house husband, I’ve never experienced that myself, I was in contracting my business got bought out. I now just invest in stocks and shares, I’m not a strockbroker/trader, I’m a retail investor.

So, hey listen now that we are Pals, I think you should stop investing in Solar as your posts because Oil and Gas is making a revival, and I’m worried your lose money, and the wife or house husband will have to shop permanently at B and M rather than Waitrose.

‘We all have to guess the market’. Well according to an analyst on CNBC this morning from HSBC, if there is any pullback of say 5%, he reckons it will be bought into. His view is he isn’t seeing any weakness in earnings and the markets are not mirroring

the dot com bust, or 07/08.

Larry Fink has been quoted as saying he sees stable markets for the next 12/18 months, ie Long.

Senator, not that I want to get into a full blown argument with you, because you are one of those self righteous individuals.

As I’ve said on Level 2 access you can understand how the market makers are working by looking at the trades, I’ve noticed you have dismissed that point. You just can’t take the point that a trader, outside influence, or Barclays themselves have instigated this fall as a trade, and departed yesterday.

Someone has challenged your knowledge and you don’t like it. You strike me as one of those over educated analysts who quite frankly is offside, even though you might be good at crunching numbers, your quite poor at judging markets and of course trading.

You don’t know how Barclays or their clients is playing this, you have admitted that, and you can’t take another view.

Senator, depending on what software you use on your Level 2 access, you can determine certain market makers, and then if you study the book you can work out their patterns of trading.

My view of yesterday, based on Barclays RNS is they have lent stock as I mentioned some weeks ago. A trader has pushed this share down to a safe level of £1.70ish, not wanting to push via historic lows, and has now exited.

Even if the RNS wasn’t there, fund manager play between the disclosure percentages constantly hedging here and there.

My view and you are of course entitled to yours, is that this down spike yesterday was just an aggressive trade, and not a sell.

Rachel’s blaming everyone else, forgetting to mention that Labour had a big hand in creating the burdensome welfare state that is essentially the problem, and they have finally worked that out.

Senator respect your posts, but in this case you are probably wrong. Yes, we don’t know completely, unless you follow the trades directly on level 2 and get a hint of what market makers are selling, there is software available that if studied will give you a better idea of who is doing what.

This scenario is typical of a companies shareprice getting pushed down between news, Barclays have told you via a RNS what they are doing, my view they or their clients are selling short/hedging and the share is being played.

Expect more downward pressure today, this week,etc, via short selling, or if not that scenario, a large player is clearly selling the bid and in essence day trading, and accumulating later in the day.

I study the trades on shares I’m invested in, and this is being played, no question about it, and it’s so obvious with a poorly run company, that is experiencing problems, and creating an opportunity for traders.

You appear a good analyst of balance sheets, but your no trader.

As Orange said last week, my view Barclays and probably some others pushing the share down, via derivatives.

A common tactic when the big boys are offside, it’s then over to the PI’s to hold or capitulate !

Hopefully, and let’s hope the update is positive from the CEO, any wiff of a recovery in business, and the share will be off to the races.

Plan B is to deal with the receivers. Negative cash flow and a billion in debt, and also lots more contracts that we don’t know will make anymore money, but of course May add to debt.

Even though of course the narrative is to wish investors well, the fact that Wood have employed a risk management team,

probably means that regardless of how many orders Wood has for ‘x’ billions of £’s those orders need to make money.

Because they are historically a loss making business, the likelihood is they haven’t improved their tendering skills, and like some main contractors are in fact doing, what we call ‘buying business’. This means filling up your order book with very low margin work.

So, lots of nonsense posted on these boards, the fact of the matter is do they have enough future margin factored into their tenders to make money.

That point going forward is not known, so this business is a very risky punt, not for the faint hearted, and definitely not for most posters on this board who will know absolutely nothing about specialised engineering, but write loads and loads of long nonsense posts.

Share price recovered in the afternoon strong buying. It can’t go up everyday.

I’m not too fussed about any short term movement down in share price. I’m a long term holder here now. Hang Seng has had a good run up recently, probably still uncertainty around China /US.

It’s a growth business doing well so I’m now holding a core position and adding more on weakness.
