I stumbled across this company last night and was surprised it had slipped under my radar as I'm fairly focused on mining opportunities and have 10 (1 producer and 9 explorer/developer) mining companies as part of my 50+ stock portfolio. Well I'm liking what I'm looking at here and I think we will be seeing many multiples of this current SP in the years to come. I only ever get involved from a long term investment and rarely hold anything for less than a year...I'm looking at 5-8 years here and I will be buying in at some point in the next few weeks. I'm aware this is a high risk speculative play in a high risk jurisdiction but with exploration and small mining firms it's all really about future potential and current risk reward ratios. The question here is this...is this a justifiable investment? To find the answer to this we must look at the percentage chance of this company failing....so what do you think those chances are? If we say for arguments sake that there is a 75% chance this company will fail it means there is a 25% chance it will succeed and therefore any multiple of 4 or more would justify the risk. Ok but nobody is going to invest in a company with a 75% chance of failure so looking at this one here what chance of failure can we see? I'd say more like maybe 20% due to the jurisdiction and of course weather can have an impact as can earthquakes, gov interference etc so a number of things could do wrong hence my estimation of a 20% chance of collapse over the next decade....if so I lose all my stake....but if I stand a 20% chance of losing my stake I stand an 80% chance of multiplying many times over if all goes to plan and there is every reason to think it can all go to plan. Debt will eventually get paid down...90,000oz a year is a good amount at today's prices and with so much stimulus needed globally I think the gold price is more likely to rise than fall in the mid term. So...with all that said I think it's a no brainer to be jumping in at this point...I'm glad to have found these guys yesterday and have manged to get in a good few hours of research already. Yes it may drift down a little for a while but I'm interested only in the bigger picture and what this looks like in 2025 and beyond. Good Luck ! This is a steal at these prices die to current risk reward ratios but DYOR!
I hear what you are saying CJ66 and yes I don't see gold sliding too much here with the amount of stimulus on the cards for the vaccine recovery phase. I hold a host of miners in my portfolio but in fairness they are all explorers at various levels of progress but all with excellent prospects so AAZ is actually my only producer but I like to get in early. The Conroy JV makes a lot of sense they have an excellent resource and I fully expect as phases are met during development we will be getting rewarded with large percentages of those operations for what seems like a tiny amount of outlay...I'm surprised we got so much for so little. That said with Conroys tiny valuation I also hold them as no doubt the pathway is clear to production and I'd expect a few mutliples of my investment which in turn will mean it likely overtakes AAZ in terms of a percentage holding in my portfolio. I do love a good mining prospect and feel POW, KAV, AEX , Bluejay, RBW, Amur and Conroy of course are an excellent combination covering lots of metals over all continents... and one 5 or 6 bag here from this group covers my cost of investments for all of them. Exciting times but I'm thinking gold wont be dropping below $1800 and is more likely to rise than fall in the mid term. Good Luck
I'm surprised at how quiet this stock is given the potential and the jurisdiction. Yes it's early days I guess but I think we will have a slow, generally steady climb over the next few years. A great time to get involved here after the 70 odd million Canadian dollar raise (someone has faith) and they do seem to bunch deploying machine learning to aid discovery. So yup, looking good for the long haul and bags of potential. Happy to be invested! Good Luck all!
There seem to be a lot of annoyed derampers sitting on this board...why are you here if you do not think they can pull it off? Yes I understand that things have not always moved as quickly as you would like but that's mining for you...you know the risks and frankly it's really not for the faint of heart nor those with weak hands who can't hold. I'm holding, I'm just about break even here and I'm not in it for the Blyvoor project though if the deal gets done (which I firmly expect it will) that's nice. I'm in here for the overall package...and my focus is more on what Hanetti might Harbour and the fact that POW are involved in the JV there should provide confidence that they are likely on to something. Of course it could all fall part, Blyvoor deal does not happen and Hanetti turns out to be nothing worthwhile and if that happens well I lose my money. On the other hand if Blyvoor deal gets done (stop being so fixated by 30th of Nov date-as long as it get's done relatively soon is all that matters) and if Hanetti s shown to host a load of nickel and PGM's well where do you think the sp will be there then? This is not a gamble it's a calculated risk and the risk reward ratio in play whilst still impossible to truly gauge is going to be in many multiples for this with patience and who understand how investing in mining works. It's not a coin toss...so chillax...get your money in if you think the odds of either Blyvoor or Hanetti working out is more than 20% because if they do you know it's going to reward you with a multi bag of more than x 5 which makes it viable to take on the risk. I'm holding , I'm not fixated with dates and I understand long term risk reward ratios. I'm here to see where this is in 2025 not Nov 30th 2020. Good Luck all just my point of view.
It looks like it's going to be an interesting end to the year and what a year of progress it's been!! So AAZ make a symbolic purchase which is clearly the heads up to get ready for JV news in the coming weeks. I suspect the news will drop by end of Nov but will certainly be by the end of the year as let's be fair AAZ have had a few other things to think about of late. Now that they Azeri storm clouds seem to have cleared I see focus moving back to Conroy and getting things moving. Only one way this stock is heading though I eventually think in years to come AAZ will possibly absorb Conroy. I don't mind as I hold both and I'm pleased to say that AAZ is my 3rd largest holding in my 50+ portfolio and Conroy is my 6th largest but I suspect will be climbing up my portfolio chart in the coming weeks. A no brainer here if you want to make money AAZ are astute and don't waste money, have spent four years looking for the right opportunity and they have selected Conroy...trust the experts!!! It's going to be a fantastic 2021!
Yes I was thinking along those lines if all goes to plan and of course all depends if they choose to sell out or JV in the end but I do think this has major major potential and I suspect we will find out soon enough with regards to what they have got under there. I'm also a holder of POW and hold a few stocks connected to POW'S JV's and investments such as Conroy Gold (another no brainer) and KAT but I do feel that at the moment KAV does seem to have the most potential and frankly the risk reward ratio is off the scales. Sue we may have to wait 10 years for the lofty price some are placing on potential but hey if we can 100 bag it's worth the wait. One thing is for sure..something is down there and if it is what they think it is...this stock could well be a life changer for some...I'm topping up as soon as I have more funds available! Now I think I will go read that latest RNS I can see flagged up there. All the best Kavanites!...is that a decent plural for KAV holders?
Full steam ahead.
Looking good here and I'm particularly pleased with the Conroy JV which provides some geographical diversity and shows ambition. Also whilst no sane person likes to see conflict the recent war result has very much fallen in our favour..for a while there I was wondering if our Azeri operations would be seriously impacted but it appears not to be the case. I'm happy to say this is my 3rd largest holding in my 50+ stock portfolio. I think this time next year we will be a close to seeing 100% gains from this level and of course they pay a dividend. A great stock to have in anyone's portfolio.
I'm invested and have been for a few months and I'm looking forward to the progress and eventual sp rise off the back of it. IF the resource is anywhere close to the modelling suggests this is going to be a major mutli bagger for those with the patience to hold. It looks promising! If this turns out to be the new Norlisk...where do you guys see the share price going?
It's just me you can hear...the herd are still some way off in the distance. The are not attracted to long term stocks with tremendous potential upside where the government which deals with it's mining licence application also happens to be heavily invested. Nah the herd don't like that kind of thing. They will come in good time though, they will come.
Yes without a doubt we will hit £4 again Jange...only a matter of time. Funny how some of these under the radar stocks get no coverage.
The silence does not fill me with confidence and whilst I hope for an offer of some kind and a decent offer at that I'm personally not going to get carried away. I see people like Paul Planet Earth suggesting potential buy out's off 100p -200p whilst finding it extraordinary that some are suggesting 0.20p. I think we all need to remember that this is a company which is somewhat on it's knees, running out of cash and with a board which I doubt has shareholder wealth as it's primary concern. I am invested here but also a realist and frankly if they sell for 0.26 which is my average I'd be happy to get out and anything above that is a bonus. Just don't get too hopeful...don't cling to hope , rather I'd recommend you all to expect the worst and that way you wont end up disappointed. If I were Apple or Samsung I'd not be coming in with a 10 x sp offer for a company on it's knees and I do think it's the optimist who expects some global bidding war to start over Nanoco's ip...if it were that good we would not be here at this juncture in the first place. Keep it real peeps.
Slowly Slowly, a pleasure to meet your acquaintance and thanks for answering my question as I would have taken a while to find all the info and work out the potential. So for now it's wait and see what the drill results at Kiyenzi show us and what news we get from the Zimbabwe surveys but yeah I'd be over the moon with a 0.16p SP...and as you say that's just Kiyenzi. Onwards and Upwards.
I suspect something positive will come from Zimbabwe it as George Bennett comes across as a shrewd operator given he has taken the cost to breakeven down over 50% ,from 275 tonnes to 105 tonnes. He is saying they hope to be producing 10,000 tones per annum of concentrate from Kiyenzi alone...does anyone on this board have an idea of the value of that level of production?
Exciting times ahead and I hear they purchased the Zimbabwe prospects for very little outlay...so even if nothing was found I doubt it would hurt the share price by much...I like the CEO and I suspect he knows a little more about the Zimbabwe prospects than the markets or we do so I do expect a positive surprise here as it's one of his first moves since coming on board. Going to be a great year.
I'm invested here and have been for around 8 months. I think this is an excellent long term investment as water is after all a commodity which is sure to increase in price in a warming world with a growing population. So owning this company for me is a no brainer and I think it has a long way to run up....early days but long term you know it makes sense. Have the markets missed a trick with water? https://www.kitco.com/news/video/show/kitco-news/1021/2015-07-14/water-the-new-gold#_48_INSTANCE_puYLh9Vd66QY_=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.kitco.com%2Fnews%2Fvideo%2Flatest%3Fshow%3Dkitco-news
Hi there all. I've been invested in RBW for just over a year and have been averaging down as and when so I'm currently about 8% down. I just wanted to say it's fantastic that this stock is finally getting the attention it deserves. There are still a few unknowns of course but I do feel that with the new CEO and with the rare earths and strategic minerals and metals situation we are on to a winner. It will be interesting to see what the soon to be announced drill results from Kiyenzi area show us...I know a few holes have been drilled so far but I'm looking forwards to seeing a bigger picture with regards to that particular area. Once the results are in and areas are more defined I expect to see a dramatic increase in production hopefully by H2. I think it's going to be a good year for Rainbow holders but nothing can ever be taken for granted and of course there are still a few unknowns such as kiyenzi grades, Zimbabwe and we can never rule out unknown unknowns as well which include weather, political interference etc etc. Good Luck to all no idea where this SP will eventually finish but I'm in for the long haul and if the CEO can deliver on his promise of creating the 2nd largest rare earths producer outside of China we will all be laughing all the way to the bank. All the best...stay patient, stay strong.
Hi there all, well probably just Troajan ( I watch you on the WRES board and I'm invested there as well). I've had a look at this stock and recently opted to buy in at SP 67. I'm thinking as a long term investment this could work out really well as having the kind of relationships with the universities and access to the ip's spun out can only be a good thing. Latest interview from Proactive shows they are pretty bullish and that aspects of their portfolio and starting to mature. So my question is this...I do think this is a solid buy but where could we expect the sp to reach in say five years? It's a very quiet board so I'm thinking FIPP is just slipping under the radar for most people. Anyone???
Hey Joey, sorry to see the response to your perfectly viable question, there was clearly no need for such a negative and condescending response. I have watched this board for over 6 months and I'm invested in Wres. As boards go this is one of the more frustrating ones filled with lots of off topic chit chat (some of you guys ought to share emails and keep the non WRES chat off the board)and a few egotists. Anyhoo, I was once taught there is no such thing as a stupid question...asking questions is how we learn and boards like this are meant to help PI's make more informed decisions. So people keep asking and if those of us who are more "in the know" or can answer a question should strive to be helpful. Manners cost nothing.
