Having been in and out of this stock for a while I am not sure there is any rhyme or reason for the sp movements, as they don't even seem to be volume related. I assume the past was based on P/E ratio as it was seen as a tech stock more than transport. Or that I read that trainline used to buy back their shares.

At least they have turned a profit and I will be happy to exit when they get back to 330p.

Totally confused... I talked myself out of averaging down again 2 days ago as there was an RNS in March showing the expected results.
How did the sp fall after that to then soar past when the actual results are published, which were unchanged? Lesson learnt I guess :)

Have finally bitten he bullet and got out, was a fool to get back in at 5p.

I get why the lenders would want there money back and it's good that peoples jobs are safer. What I don't understand is why Mooky is getting a kick back out of the deal. Why is he not losing it all like the rest of the shareholders.

It's not like he's been a safe pair of hands running the ship so why do they wish to keep him on. If any one else can sing his praises as a genuinely good fit for the job, would love to here it?

Oops, was going off the results calendar. Oh well.. not sure what will get the sp moving in the short term without the rail strikes ending.

Do we expect any uplift on Thursday with the results, could it be a good time to get the average down before then.

Seems to be searching for yet a new low..

I wondered what had happened to the SP. God only knows when I will be able to get out of this stock. Mind you its not the only high dividend stock I have that's 30% down.

Hey wack wack, seems your input has stirred the sp :). I too feel that trainline is under valued. Given their growth into Europe they must be getting close to showing a profit soon.
Have they stopping buying back shares? In the past this seemed to be the thing that kept the sp propped up.
I am av 270p but would like to double up once we get to the bottom as apart from macro environment I don't see this not being back above 400p. Any ideas what the bottom should be?

Managed to get my average down to 7.5p and would exit without hesitation at 10p. I strongly believe we will end up with something. Does anyone feel like I do that we are about to turn to the good side. I am pondering whether to take one more average down.
Cine is a small % for my portfolio but I have that itching feeling you get on the last race of the day... double or bust :)

I'm holding stock and struggle to keep up with this board. God only knows what people haven't got going on in their lives to be on this board if they don't hold the stock.

Hi Hexam, I noted you averaged down to 15p and I too believe your position in regard to uncertainty. I got my average down to 10p and will be happy to get out at that point, hopefully it surpasses that one day when I am not looking and I get a little profit :)

How long will you hang in for? And anyone else for that matter... 50p rampers and doom sayers, please post elsewhere :)

I kind of wish I hadn't looked at this but if you simply look at 2019 operating profit 724m and deduct the 2021 interest payment of 690m your left with £34m profit, These figures are from LSE financials on CW and I appreciate it's simplistic but that shows best revenue against current borrowing costs assuming operating margins are the same.

That wouldn't encourage me to put a significant offer on buying CW?

What if the highest bid isn't good enough. Can CW be forced to sell and if they choose not to, how long can they last before Ch7?

Currently surfing the Trainline wave.. Slightly missed the last high and clearly I got back in a day early with the current dip. I figure buy below 310 and sell at 340. Anyone else following this pattern and any thoughts on how long the waves will last :)

If you fancy a quick 10%, Trainline is current at the dip of its rollercoaster.
