The only thing positive I took from that interview was how phlegmatic he was about everything. Does he have, as some have suggested, a better funding model ready and waiting? Why is he so relaxed?

A lot of unanswered questions. A share price is ruins. Uncertain future. Let’s see if he can turn this around but it’s continual letdowns so far. The next few months will be interesting. What does Timor Gap do now? Why is the delay such a long one?

Unconvincing. Feels like we’ve been here before. I want to believe but it’s very difficult. Short delay talk is quite frankly insulting.

Baron correct but as Tommy pointed out, 0.03 is now a profit selling price. Salaries in full flow. Uncertainty with operational planning. Unstable financial position. I’m keeping my ridiculous optimism intact for no good reason but this doesn’t look like a master plan. Crashing the share price and looking ridiculous is not clever. Ps CDF, stop posting your buys. It’s unbecoming and we don’t need to know about it.

There was interest from investors who wanted the drill delayed. He will revisit those discussions no doubt but the environmental permit was never going to come in on time. That should have been foreseen. You cannot promise a drill literally only weeks ago and then issue this news. You cannot negotiate like this. It’s astounding what has happened. Shareholders have shown enormous patience and support. This is more than frustrating. This is unacceptable. Money poured in on the belief the drill was prepared and ready to go. You cannot turn round and say it’s not ready as if it’s a mere slip up. Not sure what happens next. Hoping that we have a partner ready in the wings and cash is at hand but deflated and let down is an understatement.

Miracles do happen. Good luck CDF. This is incompetence on steroids. Drilling engineer quit a while back. Egg on my face is the least of my worries. But no more crap from me. Just hope for an unexpected recovery from a safe distance. Shareholders deserve better.

Lies squarely at AB’s door. Credibility gone. The critics have been proved right. Whatever happens now and I’m interested in my investment, I can’t take any future planning or promises seriously. Will check in daily with fingers crossed but what a disaster.

This is not a corrupt country which would by pass their regulations. I’m glad about that and it says a lot about modern day TL that they are law abiding and have independent law making institutions. No one would invest otherwise.

Thanks, Boom. We need the permit to drill. The public consultation runs into July. I would hope AB is 100% confident it won't be held up before booking a rig. ANP held a meeting today with the National Authority for Environmental Licensing. All seems very late in the day for an August drill unless assurances have been made behind the scenes.

This is a low risk well. The odds of success are high and it’s extremely exciting. Delays, a loan and the current low share price changes nothing. Aggressive and desultory posts on here mean nothing.

Silver, in this Trumpian world, charity still matters. Won’t affect our investment. Simply giving back to a hugely poor community is a good thing. Soft power when you need people to leave their homes for your pipeline plans isn’t a bad thing either.

I’m hoping this is just an update on the drill and any environmental concerns. No more than keeping the public informed. Otherwise the drill is delayed indefinitely. Cannot believe this wasn’t known in advance if the public have further input. We will find out soon enough.

MuTeknologi Software proudly announces that MoTuM and MuDrillCutting3D have been selected to assist in the preparation of Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) and Environmental Management Plans (EMP), particularly in oil spill studies and mud drilling dispersion studies for Sunda Energy Plc. The study area is located in Chudith-2 Well. The well is located approximately 185 km south of Timor-Leste. Chuditch has a characteristic of a long-term plateau, which can deliver > 300 MMcsfd of Gas to the LNG Facility. CHuditch-2 Well also has a potential of 2.4 trillion cubic feet of recoverable gas (TCF), which could power homes and industries for decades to come.
