New longs/ investors will join (who have NEVER bought / held CINE before) having read both sides of the stories, made their minds up.

MY VIEW...Cine should never have fallen from 10p to 2p in the first place.
Cineplex investors want to negotiaite and a good statement maybe on the cards before the appeal.
Out of court agreement to work toegether with legal teams of all sides, for the good of the industry and sector.

Downside-risk is now significantly high at 2p. Smallest of good news and this rockets up as fast as went down from 11p to 2p.

The odds of this, the probability and the fact we are “waivering” on 2p, tells me this on the way up.
The real shorters have closed (final) positions past 7 days positions. What you have left is the FOMO equivalent of shorters.

A whiff of news, that PLEX legal are willing on negotiating the Dec award (out of court..) CINE shoots to 20p.

Of course you know this could happen.
Their shareholders would rather accept $200m over $ero, anyday.

Here’s the food for thought, the 2 biggest shorters say, cinema business is dead, sure it is, not.
Cineplex revenues rose 400%, a canadian company, with a population of 38m.

Dead as petrol and oil. Aramco, made profits of £38bn a quarter. That is how dead the business is.
Next they will writing electric business is going ou of business, due to solar cars.

In ten years, many businesses which we may consider have reached their peaks, will have DIVERSIFIED into other areas, perhaps even buying up stakes in Netflix and other m]new media’s, that is what compnaies do. CINE, PLEX and other will use their profits to do exactly that, to keep growing, Tesla and Apple are a great example, diversifying into different areas.

Right now, we are coming out of covid, and hollywood movie industry was as affected, and we are on the verge on coming over this period in 2022. The young generation is the fastest growing generation and they love movies and entertainment.

Populations will continue to grow....not decline.

I suggest others do their own research always.

The upside from 2p is massive 500% at least , and the downside is dimunitive 25%, in the words of the outgoing PM, chicken feed.

Tegtop nailed it, notice the amount of buys which went through at 2p on Friday for hours.
Sells were offered a **** poor 1.9p. As soon as market closed 2.3p trades went through. Closed up 19.7%

Dow closes down 1007 point, but Teflon-cine US runs upto +42% and closes up +26%.

Shorts wents down to 2.7%.

Is there anyone here who thinks he should have gone ahead with Plex? Likely no.

Is there anyone here who thinks, a $1bn award was fully justified during global covid period? hindsight tells you, it was criminal to award an entertainment company $1bn, when goverments were forcing businesses to shut down, or be closed down/ fined, stripped of their licences. Stock markets all crashed.

The decision was wronge on many levels.
This mess would never have happened.

If we were to dedcut the 3 issues, Hollywood release of blockbuster films from November, plex reduces %award expectations, sp rises....and revenues rise. Maybe sell off Eastern european side of business. They would be ok. Making profit again. Raise additional finance at a higher sp, again. It’s all on the table, as they all strategic options are open to discussion.

Cine should be profit making again next year, cines problem is very few films being released from Hollywood and the covid lockdown, the appeal can be settled out of court, or in court, next month.

Nothing happens until after the appeal

In Hindsight, the court award was way too high, that will be obvious now, but it needed to get to this position to highlight it, after the summer update. Else they would lose the appeal.

The position back in Nov/ Dec-21 was CINE would be raking in the revenue, at least that is what they thought.

Cineplex, recent;y updated in their Aug-22 rns - PLEX revenue was up 400%....?
They can wait longer for any payments, and PLEX is not in the dire position they may have stated they would end up in 12months ago. They are doing very well....

What I’m saying is they are not doing this as favour as humanitarians, there is wonga to be made, on the uplift.....

If you bought at these levels, in the past 2 weeks, you might be ok.

Once all sorted, it should gush up.
Any inst will want to see the sp rise up, not to £1,20, (, but at least many multiples from where we are right now.
