2 months at least before assays get returned from each one being sent. But he's confident that the results will mimic the XRF readings. Some of the December ones are trickling through, won't expect the later ones until May. End of May / early June for updated MRE.

CA mentions a couple of times in this article that if the assay results are even close to the XRF readings for this 2nd drilling campaign then the MRE increase will be massive.

Just to flash back to a previous post of mine. I did some analysis that showed the assays from the first drilling campaign came back with better results than the XRF...

Interesting that we have gone 3 weeks with no RNS. I know this is typical for a lot of companies, but looking at the last few months we have averaged 4 or 5 per month. With so much going on, I'm surprised we haven't seen anything for a while..

This is VERY interesting. I'm keen to see what others have to say. I'm sure Charles Archer will provide his insights in the next couple of weeks on this.

To my untrained eye, I would say that there's one thing for sure, Paul and the team really believe tin is the play, which bodes well for the fact we are currently digging out a monster in the DRC :)

My brother was asking me about my investments yesterday. I had a moment of panic when I reflected that half of my portfolio is Rome, yet Rome is still early stage.

It was only when I broke down the investment case, and story (hearing it out loud) that I got excited again about the potential here. I found myself focussed on one specific thing: Paul Barrett, on two occasions during the investor meeting, mentioning that Alphamin will be processing Kalayi tin. Normally these type of comments are only made when it has been RNS'd.

Very much looking forward to the next few drill results. I don't think it will necessarily move the SP at the moment, but it will one day result in a multi bag. Hopefully this year.

Really enjoyed the webinar. I found the pink chart showing the difference between early (shallower) drill holes, compared to the recent (deeper) ones VERY interesting. For me, it fully supports the model that the management team are anticipating!

Here's my take on the story ahead:

- It seems that Kalayi tin is almost certainly going to Alphamin. It was said in a very matter of fact way on two or three occasions.

- Mont Agoma is a different story with it being polymetalic. It looks like two different income streams.

- I feel like the tin from Kalayi will fund the future drilling of Kalayi, but mainly Mont Agoma. I think a deal for this will be done very soon after the updated MRE, and I hope so to avoid dilution. Note, only 10 - 15% of the 35km2 we have access to has been drilled so far.

- As we have suspected on this BB, Alphamin are quite unsuccessful at extending their current resource (not sure exactly what that is still).

- It doesn't seem as likely that we will see an outright buyout, but I am more certain than ever that Rome will make us a lot of money.

What are other thoughts? Keen to see if anyone has a different outlook.

Today's RNS is very timely, with the investor call today. Seems like our assets just keep giving. Who knows how big these can become?!

Just to add to this, as we are talking about XRF not assays. I asked AI how comparable thr XRF readings have been to the assays when they have come out. Here's what it said (it's good news!):

What Rome Resources has said about XRF vs assays historically

From earlier releases (2023–2024), the company’s qualified person (QP) noted:

The handheld Niton XRF used for soil and core sampling was calibrated and QAQC standards were inserted regularly.

In that context, checks suggested the XRF results tended to under-report grades by about 10–15 % compared with lab assays, and the QP considered the XRF measurements representative in that program. �

This means in that earlier dataset (soil sampling and some core), when assays became available:

XRF did track the pattern of grades, and

XRF tended to underestimate absolute grades on average by ~10–15 %.

AI summary of what the grades mean, from this fantastic RNS:

For hard-rock tin projects:

~0.5–1.0% Sn → already considered decent

>1.5% Sn → high-grade

>3% Sn → very high-grade

So when Rome Resources plc reports:

11m @ 3.43% Sn

including 6m @ 5.14% Sn

and 4m @ 7.50% Sn

…that is not normal tin grade – that is exceptional grade.

The most important positive

The key point in this RNS is not just the grade – it’s this:

they are hitting high-grade at depth below the current resource

That means:

➡ the existing resource may be extendable downwards

This is exactly what you want to see immediately after a maiden resource.

The widths are also meaningful

They are not just thin stringers:

11 metres

6 metres

4 metres

3 metres

Those are mineable-looking widths, if they prove continuous.

Why they keep referencing Mpama

They are comparing Kalayi to:

run by Alphamin Resources

Mpama is one of the best tin operations globally, with:

reported average grades around ~4% Sn

vein thicknesses in the same general range

So Rome is effectively saying:

“Our widths and grades look similar to a real, working, high-margin tin mine nearby.”

That’s a strong geological argument.

Disagree mate. Companies do it all the time, just to reinforce the story. I'd love to be wrong

Been watching all this action and commentary for the last week, and got very excited myself at the prospect of good news this morning from WCE. The news was the best we could have hoped for, and everyone was super-positive, as we shoukd have been. A 19% loss at close is mental. I get if the market decided to not react at all, but to be 19% down?!?!?!

Does anyone have a logical theory for why this would happen? I've been in UFO for 3 years, so fairly long term, I'm trying not to be frustrated, so I'm more asking from the perspective that I'm trying to understand the mechanisms of this market. Why would there be such a drop , and what does it take for the SP to rise meaningfully?

I ask this, but I bet we jump 50% tomorrow hahaha!

After seeing that happened to UFO on fantastic results today (20% drop), I don't think we should really worry about the SP based on results. We are here for a buy out. All that matters is that a larger company values what we have
