One thing that will continue to frustrate while holding bur is that the very nature of their business will always rely on the justice system ???? And all the games that are played within.
Some will hope once it gets to the eke eleventh hour that they settle but of course then the rewards may not be so great ???? But will at least get paid rather than appealed for years and years ??

He had a notification? That Argentina hade there “ request” to have the petersen case heard at home thrown out today !!! Hope that’s means it’s now another step closer to being heard in New York ????

WOW Is it me or is there more to take in this time ?
I'm on my third read and it's still not all sinking in ! No doubt there is bias but the facts are there to make what you will of them.
I like that we only took on 7% of enquiries 99 cases out of 1,414
only 11% of deployments have been lost when the cases go to court
68% of deployments are settled after an average 1.5 years
Still getting my head around most of the rest
suffice to say they acknowledge they will sieze the next opportunity to sell more Bonds ( get over it ffc lol)
also I think it stood out that covid could well have a bigger detrimental affect on this years figures than I imagined ???

I know more today than I did a couple of days ago ,
I think Bur is an excellent investment although I can't say the last ten months has been as enjoyable as my first three and a half years here ? What I will say is whilst I probably haven't explained myself re the bonds very well I would still like to see us keep our borrowing to a minimum , personally I would very happy if they were to invest all gains and not pay dividends as this was a growth share for me until MW , I certainly hadn't questioned the Bonds until GG mentioning not paying them back anytime soon , I think that's where I stopped explaining my aversion to debt getting out of hand ... Of course I don't want good opportunities turned away due to a lack of funding , Forgetting Petersen for a moment I really do think that so long as they are still picking their "fights" wisely ? the "pending" wins should enable funding going forward .

Without news I would be amazed if we did not continue the pattern I’m afraid !!!

Personally I’ll be glad when the dual listing is done as then we’ll get to see the interim results as it seems like might just be the best we’ve seen yet ??? The one thing that does worry me a little is muddy waters may just see the listing as an opportunity to make more mischief??? That’s if he hasn’t played all his cards already ! Time will tell

It just felt to me that the suggestion was that we just keep issuing bonds for future funding as they are so cheap !!! It mounts up if they don't get settled at some point , there's debt and there are millstones
Although I wouldn't mind a few at 87 bucks

We have Bond paying 6.5% , 6.125 % ,5% and 6.125%
I Completely understand why but whilst they don't resemble the high figures attached the junk bonds say ? over the life of the Bonds they actually add up to a significant amount so I welcome the day when it comes that they are paid off !!!
AISI Sovereign wealth funds get a higher pay off because correct me if I'm wrong they are not "lending " but taking the risk with us ????

So at what point are we able support funding needed solely through profits ????? Or is it naive to expect that ?
Of course borrowing is needed in a co early years I’ve no problem there but at what point do we accept we are no longer a “ relatively new industry”
What’s wrong with hoping I’m invested in a co that in five years time will be reducing debt rather than adding to it ??
