Excellent TWT if it were possible to tick that up twice I would.
I’m out all day so can’t reference anything but in part we already do take on the odd collection of cases from certainly one or two AM Law 100 firms and I back that fully (although I hope they don’t have cart-blanche completely) and Bogart and the other bod have suggested it will help take the lumpiness out a bit, it’s picky of me I know but I just don’t see offices around the world devaluing what we actually do ,,
Can you actually see Lord and Lady Soames sticking with Couttes when they open up some door step lending branches ??????

Gtx I'm not against adding the right type of business so long as it's nothing like the coffin chasers you were talking about recently !!
We are the best at what we do I would hate to "dilute" that as it's not what attracts the cliental we are currently Have !
Gerchen Keller was massive for us in 2016 and helped us become what we are today , I'll see if I can find the odd link in the run up to the it if it would help !

Gtx/tb I genuinely don’t mention it to wind anyone up it’s just a genuine concern of mine but what I will say is that we will have to agree to disagree I’m afraid as the majority of takeover do not pay the premium you suggest and I think most shareholders would be against that ! Where it always goes pear shaped is the managers of the instructions would cave in due mainly to the fact that their yearly bonus outweighs any long term view that we may have.
People here may well disagree with my long term forecasts but I genuinely don’t think I could do as well constantly trying to find many companies that could add up to an overall gain I will make sticking with just Burford . Wonder if tb would admit to fact he got out far far far to early ???? And I guenuinly believe I’ll outlast 90% here too .. can’t blame anyone for moving on when they think it’s topped out mind, BBH you said earlier you’re here for a while yet ? All I can say to that is you are in the nice position that you can regularly top slice and still be involved for a very long time ??? Although I think TWT could do the same and outlast us all ????

another good find BBH ,I did know we were involved here but forgot so a great reminder that we are the go to Litigation funder for the largest disputes out there !!! And I genuinely feel we will stay No 1 for an eternity !
I hope we can press on PDQ sp wise as I'd like to see us out of reach of any takeover merchants as I'm not convinced our founders would turn offers away.

Regarding our hopes for £8 before the 19th???
Three months ago I felt we deserved to be a tenner by now ! For me now it will be an interesting ride as whilst I’m confident the US investors will “get” bur I haven’t got a clue how quick this will press on from here ? We don’t get what we want as bur have proved up to now but I Think 12 to 14 would be nice before the petersen case gets a final judgement???? Yes that is a massive ask but if we don’t get another short attack I don’t see why it couldn’t jump significantly give we’ve been stuck for too long now ! Talking of short attacks I am astounded that they haven’t reduced so do worry that we are all missing something ? Anyway that’s hopefully my last ramblings before the big surge Monday Tuesday that would be the perfect ending to our single listing , maybe in a couple of years Burford will get off aim and rightfully join the ftse 100 where we deserve to be
