I had hoped when I joined this bb it was about genuine people with honorable intentions not thieves trying to steal from the vulnerable ,,,, as for stop losses I have seen people wake up with a share only to not have it a day or two later and the sp hasn't changed only they got a lot less for them ???? Did they listen to bad advice and act through fear ???? I'm sure stop losses should be considered at times but do your research ..... and be very careful to check out new posters history as sometimes its easy to tell if they are genuine or not ... anyway I'll be here for the divs and some wont ... Alan well said and I agree with all that you say BUT some or maybe a few more than some are in a difficult situation financially ?? it's no good saying more fool them, we all know how easy it is to be over confident or have a different timeline . fear can hit people according to ever changing circumstances and you must be able to see this is a particularly trying time here !!! I'm in deep here but luckily my timeline is 8 years from now at retirement ( I wouldn't complain is a surge in the sp allowed an earlier retirement mind you ) Anyway please don't take that as me disagreeing I just think we are all losing a bit of empathy here ... What I find really difficult to understand is how some get satisfaction when they see people under water in an investment ???? what is the motivation ????? I imagine they just troll around the the markets and when a share goes down it like they say oh lets have some fun there today ,,,, I look some of them up and you start to understand when you see they are having a hard time in there own investment but I know hand on heart I could never wish someone bad luck financially ?????? might want then to fall down a pothole or two but thats about it ... hey ho it takes allsorts I guess...
