Ortac shares traded at much, much higher levels. They were somewhere above 2p at one point, prior to the share consolidation. I cannot recall, it may have reached as high as 4p all that time ago? In today's money that is a vast, vast difference to the 2.75 on your screen today. So, yes I was invested and sold, and this all came before the share consolidation. It is not difficult to work out the exact % if you really want (I have no need to do the maths as I have better things to do with my time!). Needless to say my loss was hefty enough but by selling I saved myself from losing almost everything I had invested. And I do not view things as any different now, a speculative investment in a risky territory, but politically difficult for different reasons than Sturec. SPOT points to funding and that must come from somewhere .... My main rationale is that I think DRC is headed for massive political disaster and I do not see how this will be averted given the history of violence, and uneasy ethnic mix which is a remnant of the last war and trouble in Rwanda. The minute Kabila goes it will be certain chaos, and if he doesn't go, it will be chaotic too.
