Taken from yesterday's Budget review address in Parliament. Looks like an oblique slap down to GUTA resistance to increased port charges? MPS directly mentioned at para 99 where it refers to enhanced trade tax compliance from efficiency measures at the ports to counterbalance reduction in benchmark import values.. Atty G. The likely value of Sustaine is proven in the 'field' of polymer microencapsulation technology for the use of many existing agro chemicals. The hope must be (my hope certainly) that the refrain from uaing non natural polymers will hasten the move towrards Sustaine which is a natural solution. I can remember a chat with a company boss many years ago that said they had overlooked yeast encapsulation due to the fact these polymers could do the job instead but with a growing backlash worldwide the time is probably 'ripe' for this other solution to come to the fore. I belive that pollen cells can also be used. As you say, in time there should be tremendous value in this IP, if you take the Buffett approavh to investing in value

Hi Fred. I do have the spare cash and it is actually a tough call to make. I conclude it is imprudent for me to buy more after already accumulating a big holding. I might still get a rush of blood Monday though and knowing my luck I will probably end up regretting it! I am always being reminded that a prudent investor would have already sold on a stop loss and moved on!

Thanks to only1gibbo. I agree A,B,C spot on, and of those B is most relevant IMO. The contract needs to be finally agreed when the base terms for the port are cemented with Govt. Too many variables left floating about at present, and WSG slice of pie will be firmed up when thisnis all agreed. Maybe there will be fudge where the old charges apply for a transitionary period. As to whether WSG is being paid right now it will make no difference in the end as long as contract is finalised. Somewhere in this article you will see reference to a "30 day notice period" for notifying end users of relevant charges. Only1gibbo. I have recommended your post. It seems to me the most plausible sequence of events. AIM is set up to work this way and fledgling companies - or rather their private investors are used and abused until such time they can sustain a decent level of revenues and profits. We can only hope that we do get the TEMA contract started (and today's price is a steal if you think so) and that future similar-sized contracts can be funded from loan finance or revenue streams. It is make or break time right now.

Slipperz - as it has been pointed out your maths is all wrong and it appears you have taken the 1% completely out of context. It is not possible to extrapolate scanning charges from the article. The big point is that there is resistance to a fee INCREASE above the current arrangements. Any new operator is going to want negotiate enhanced terms for an enhanced service which involves a 360 type operation

Slipperz i think you may have misunderstood if you are saying that 1% equates to a £500,000 pa contract for WSG. But I am not sure what point you are making

Pointed this out myself 2-3 weeks ago. It is a good reason for the contract delay which gives me enormous confidence that the issue is all bigger picture stuff and not related to WSG suitabilty as a partner. If you want a modern efficient port to serve West Africa which satisfies the sort of standards now being applied (worldwide) then inevitably costs will rise

I have no prior experience of this so what does it all mean? Company gets a premium on its shares and those shares stay out of the market so liquidity is reduced? Or will I now receive a phone call offering to buy me shares at a 105% premium???

Still scratching my head ad to how did I not see this coming..... luckily bought quite a few at 7's and 8's but bought a massive amount more at 15 and 16's . All the big gains I made already gone and now in the red. My wife is going to notice the belt tightening on holiday. Sign a contract or walk away from TEMA asap. I said before I thought it was a mistake for them to start without a contract and now I am bloody certain it was.
