I think it addresses a different market as the Eden product is designed for cucumbers, peppers etc . - so no direct relationship to Cedroz but every bit helps.

The chief reason DHC said that he invested was there was no caveat along the lines of "no guarantee can be given / the conclusion of a contract and/the timing of a final contract is inherently uncertain etc.." like we had with previous RNS. He read something into that as many PIs will have done especially when we were given the 30 day time frame. Management has to speak !

Many thanks - but the reply to your email should be an RNS. We might as well know the full horror of it all, because only with certainty can we as PIs make proper investment decisions. (Yeah right....)

yrabsmurruc - yes but PF stepped over the line to inform shareholders about the potential deal just before the AGM(!) where normally he would respect the need for privacy of negotiations. So there is nothing to hide away from now, and conversely there is every reason to keep shareholders properly and regularly informed. If the deal is going wrong then we might as well be told now, as it will save credibility. If there is a log jam in being able to settle this in a matter of days then we should also know this too. The expectation was 30-40 days, and so rightly in my view the market is now viewing the deal as dead in the water.

It didn't take long for the mood to change around here, which is entirely understandable IMO. I think we need an update from the company ASAP spelling out (a) current progress on the ground; (b) the financial basis for current operations at the port, whether remunerated or not (including whether the pre-condition for remuneration is a concluded final contract; (c) reasons for the ongoing negotiations - e.g. is it to do with the Ministerial wrangling over port charges or something else? ; and (d) an accurate (!) prediction of the timescale to conclude a final contract; (e) details of the new exclusivity period.

That will be under an NDA so it is not even worth asking. I missed the first part of the call but I think it is 3 majors in total - 2 existing majors and now one other major coming into the frame.

Minor, but important correction - the NEW major said the were "...SOME of the best results they had ever seen out of Africa". I like the idea of a funded drill programme hence my recent decision to buy in. I also added more during the call on hearing this bit. It has to bode well that the grades are exceeding first expectations.
