to be clear flannels is not a sports retailer, its a premium designer retailer. yes they sell some cheaper brands but its no where near a sportswear retailer.

HeresHopin someone made a valid point a few days ago it could be due to JD wanting to fend of f a rival bid as not to effect the JD market space, Sports direct is the bargain end of sportswear and JD and Foot have a more premium feel.Mike Ashley is buying up all he can and would like a more premium sports wear outlet in his portfolio. They also made a point about the Foot exclusive brands i believe these are quite popular and JD may want some synergy here??
