This is a major *ock up by the govt and not the first. Needs to be collective pressure put on your local MP and email media outlets to get this out there.

How can this incompetent govt allow a shortage to even occur and there are real questions as to why they haven’t expedited UK made tests to deal with this risk months ago. People need to start lobbying their MP’s to raise this issue and to email news outlets to highlight this as a major concern

This is an ideal opportunity for DB to let rip a monster of a RNs. The POC device is the ideal solution for fast reliable and accurate testing.
This will fly once again, when the media latches onto the incompetence of This govt and downright shoddy deals with Chinese companies.

The machinery isn’t worth 17 million. There are some very savvy individuals on here trying to plant the seed. When they announce it isn’t, Everyone starts blaming CK and SP falls down. Do you research and don’t listen to the clowns

Home use tests that you manufacture for someone else??? Those companies who are still none the wiser about when this incompetent govt will approve HUA!

Hopefully we get the same on here too but can’t see us replicate the same as GDR although, I reckon that will double or triple in the next few weeks

LAMP tests are very desirable by the aviation industry and confirmed by Heathrow airport.
I reckon Budd is got something up his sleeve with the commercial contracts. Next week will no doubt be interesting and agree that any announcement of commercials will take this into NCYT territory

Lots of money going into GDR after the RNS that’s just been released. Looks like they have a very rapid and accurate test that’s been CE marked

Seen a programme about Heathrow airport. Confirmed that most airports use the LAMP test for its convenience. The GDR product is a faster and more efficient test which will be highly attractive to meet the needs of the impending spread of the virus.
£2-£3 in next few weeks easy imo

I did say this will likely hit the year high’s in terms of SP. With the news just confirmed, I anticipate this to be in the next few days rather than weeks.

The incompetence of the UK govt is absolutely astounding. Their indecisiveness could be costly to the infection rate. Given the sudden change of plan, it’s an ideal opportunity for GDR to capitalise.
No reason why we can test the year high’s in SP fairly soon

I know there has been a lot of convo about CK’s competence but I do believe that the govt has taken him for a ride and it is they who should be accountable for not expediting UK tests over poorly made Chinese ones

Not posted for a while but there is a lot of pressure building up in the background about the questionable procurement contracts on LFT’s this govt has awarded. We all know there are a few high quality UK tests awaiting validation but don’t seem to have been given the nudge by this govt for whatever reason.

Now if you really want to make a difference, then I suggest you stop wasting time on here and start lobbying your local MP and write a short email to all the big media firms to highlight the incompetence of this govt.

It’s easy, go onto the FT, The I, Telegraph, Mirror etc. and click the Contact Us button at the bottom. Send them a nice email on how good investigative journalism will be able to unravel the hypocrisy and downright dubious antics of this govt.
Hoefully, with a bit of collective pressure, they will have to review their strategy and start to approve these gold standard LFT’s.
