Again, nothing new, keep up with the times chaps. The new suit wants the workforce reduced to 75k over next 3 years. but dont worry all the staff are to receive a £500 share reward to alleviate that fact,
aus it cant be that, as there is nothing new at all there. I think its about time the government supermarket ombudsman forced Tesco to stock and sell Sainsburys and Marks and Spencer goods so we can buy them cheaper, its about bloody time.
Theresa May is touring Perthshire in the Prime Minister's chauffeur driven car. Suddenly a cow jumps out into the road. They hit it full on and the car comes to a stop.
Theresa in her usual raspy manner, says to the chauffeur: "You get out and check - you were driving." The chauffeur gets out, checks and reports that the animal is dead. "You were driving, go and tell the farmer," says Theresa firmly, I can't afford to be blamed for anything.
The chauffeur walks up the drive to the farmhouse and returns five hours later totally plastered, his hair ruffled and with a big grin on his face.
"My God, what happened to you?" asks Theresa. The chauffeur replies: "When I got there, the farmer opened his best bottle of malt whisky, the wife gave me a slap up meal and the daughter made love to me." "What on earth did you say?" asks Theresa.
"Well, I knocked on the door and when it was answered, I said to them, "I'm Theresa May's chauffeur and I've just killed the cow.""
They believe the divi will be cut, or KNOW the divi will be cut, according to the funny guy in the suit he says its safe for now, seems a little to much of a drop and to quickly, will the divi be cut entirely? as for all the other bickering going on here, what a load of old my one is bigger than yours, remain or leave, shove it up your fat one.
If we leave without a deal does that mean it will be that bad that people might start putting some of their recyclables in the black bag? Before you know it petrol will be over a £1.00 a litre and fags will be 10 quids a packet, total disaster, lets hope Jeremy Corbyn gets in and saves the day...........apocalypse anybody?
Sure, I changed my mind, tell that chap that has zero faith in BT to invest his money in BT shares rather than buy a house, whats the worse that could happen. That's not directed at you Velo, its directed at the posters with the insane art of the utterly meaningless 25000 word essays that have a sum total of zero, or maybe that is directed at you, anyway I am utterly knackered as been up all night gambling on line and it takes it out of you, so will be back later to give you more sound advice on how this share price will be performing in the future by looking it up on googles and then writing it on here so I look big and clever, then when it all goes tits up just go all quiet for a few months. In the mean time, buy, hold and sell the share, and sack the entire board because everything is there fault.
Do not invest any money you cant afford to lose, ever, is a much less long winded way to say it, sound financial advice for free from me. Gamble on the stock market or buy a house? buy the house as long as you can afford it, if you cant afford it do what the peasants do and take out a mortgage with Wonga.
Andyagogo, "You are paying a very high price for the dividend payout" wrong, I am not paying anything, yet I am earning a very high dividend income, that said I am becoming worried that it will start to fall apart somewhere, if it hasn't already, if its the debt thats causing the issue then maybe its catching up as according to the company the main debt has been taken care of and is being reduced. Are you saying the debt is now getting out of hand again? What information can you provide that its debt causing the SP to fall?
Bkkbkk, I hope your correct, it will have to be good news and nothing but to get the SP up to 2.50, like I say I hope it does, lets hope its a good result for final figures and the Jansen statement is clear and concise with out anything people can rip to pieces, such as "we have no plans to cut the dividend..........at the present time."
Could be exactly what the doctor ordered, and the price goes down even further, its hard share to comprehend sometimes/all the time.
Clicked the link and it takes me to the page of a twitter show off. Within a few seconds it reminded me why I dont frequent social media. 20Tb of BS streaming at the speed of light, not interested, my loss thanks anyway.
Taverham, I think sports sponsorship is ok and warranted, however, the venture in to TV trying to keep up with the big boys was a step to far, for me as a shareholder and a non football or sports fan it had zero benefit that I can see, that said its no good crying over spilt milk and all that. About time they dig in and concentrate on their core, where has the development and individuality gone? why use China competitor products, why not develop and produce your own equipment instead of looking at the price that says CHEAPEST quote wins. BT should be selling its own core products to other nations worldwide, Great Britain and BT is being left behind and far to reliant on others to survive. I would rather a divi cut for core investments, but lots of other money wasting projects need to go before you can convince me that replacing copper with fibre is that costly it is going to have to be paid for by shareholders. Reading press reports about the company thoughts is depressing me, where is the news from the company itself? I guess they are busy out and about chopping heads to try and solve the issue.
