it's a transfer of shares to his other half..

Just to put it in to more stark terms, approx £330 Million of profits are gone from Kingfisher France since FY 2012.

In FY 2012, Kingfisher France retail profit was over £400 Million.

It's the UK operation, in particular Screwfix that is the success.

It's France, in particular, that has lead to a longer term underperformce.

Overly aggressive expansion it looks to me,

coupled with rising costs and a UK consumer under pressure..
