Looks like Nationwide have committed to Black Swan Graphene - 5% equity swap and supply agreement announced via the TSX newswire, today (27th March 23) should prompt some questions at the AGM this week.....

I wonder if this is the downside of VRS not wanting to grant some form of exclusivity??

tillidjohan, Nationwide don't actually make Graphene but rather buy it in from elsewhere - to date we know that they have used 2 sources: Black Swan (ex Thomas Swan) and VRS, with VRS being the supplier for the first pour they did (in Amesbury) the pour down outside the GEIC and also the one at the Mayfield development mentioned in the article, there is clearly interest from / for VRS.

There is also another issue which is general mass adoption of the technology as that will then benefit VRS, both indirectly, and directly as VRS are going through the necessary BS processes to accredit their product Cementene as well as working directly with end users eg Costain

Stoater, unfortunately (though I wish this weren't the case) the last paragraph to me does NOT demonstrate that Graphene was used on this project at all. Neill is usually not one to miss a trick when it comes to plugging Graphene and as he fails to mention it (or even Cementene) then I think this clearly means it hasn't been used - perhaps someone should ask him on Twitter?

Thomas, your technical claims are an example of what I said in my previous post - yes all sportswear manufacturers try and control temperature and moisture in their garments (as doing so enhances performance) this is your snippet of fact that you use to diss VRS, but fail to do so by not backing up your claims, yet VRS publish theirs following independent testing.

lse99, don't worry about Thomas he's one of the, not very credible, naysayers (though to be fair he has at least admitted he has a short open) who takes a snippet of fact and tries to twist it to sound clever, whst dissing VRS, but isn't very good at it - he's basically harmless!

For those wondering why there is no accompanying RNS (as I know the usual suspects on the other board are - to try and discredit the good news today) there is no need as there is nothing to announce as the commercially sensitive announcement (ie the tie up with Umbro to support the 2023 Pro Elite Range) was made back in May 2022.

Makes sense the launch of the Elite Pro Training Range for 2022 occurred on 23rd Feb 2022, so timing is very similar for the 2023 launch!

Thomas, why do you continue to prove that you can't read / understand accounts as it does you no favours - I'll give you a hint look for the segmental analysis

nanonano, thing is VRS do have an option that is unavailable to the others that you mention - they can pivot back to being a "boring" industrial products company and exit the Graphene space, remember this is where the bulk of the recently posted revenues actually exists (and also profits). The big drag at the moment - for ALL Graphene companies [inc such darlings as DCTA) - is that the Graphene part of the business is far away from becoming self sustaining (tiny revenues yet huge costs and cash burn).

So VRS could pivot and survive it's just that they would then be a listed low growth entity with limited prospects, with no prospect of ever changing and thus the SP would barely flicker (up or down).

Thomas, you continue to lose credibility with every post by getting the basics wrong - we the shareholders do NOT get to see the Audit, in fact you can't see an Audit, only the outcome of one. This we will get to see in the form of the "audited Annual Reports & Accounts" (which also include a commentary from the Auditor in respect of the business) it is this (the Annual Report & Accounts" that are to be shared with us by the 23rd February 2023.

As I've said before, your opinions / guesses as to what may befall VRS are just that unless you can back them up with hard evidence (which you seem unable / unwilling to do) but if you want to become credible (without the evidence) at least get the basics rights so it sounds like you know what you are talking about.

Brucel, if you are correct the woman you speak of maybe Rachel (can't remember her family name) who has been working with VRS in Korea for a little while. As for being an engineer or not, you misunderstand what VRS actually do in Korea - the production (using VRS Patents and perhaps even some equipment that came with the Hanwa Patents) is undertaken by Graphene Lab (whose offices / facilities VRS share).

Thomas, you need to look in a mirror to see who is peddling in dishonesty and disinformation, whilst it is true to say that these days I only post about VRS, I have previously posted about others since becoming a member. Also please show me where I have posted false information (rather than giving a possible alternative to what you post, whilst not denying what you say, but just asking you for evidence to back up what you claim). I have NEVER encouraged anyone to buy or sell this stock or any other. Finally you need to learn to read a set of accounts if you think VRS have no revenue (as opposed to the multiple millions declared) or are drowning in debt, but then again truth, facts and evidence probably don't help your cause, so you choose to ignore them.

cn100, were there actually redundancies as Versarien have used contractors before (for instance David Kerr was a contractor initially) and as such it could be that contracts were either not extended / renewed, something very different to redundancy.

smokey, whilst it may well be true (as may the redundancies claim) Thomas et al never offer any proof / corroborating evidence to back up their claims so a rather large pinch of salt is required until proof is forthcoming - from whatever source (though don't hold your breath on them providing any)

Weave, whilst it is true to say that I think VRS have supplied the Graphene for a good number (the majority?) of the pours that Nationwide have done to date, the whole point of their product is that they can, and do, use multiple sources of Graphene - I think they have said that they have used Thomas Swan (or whatever the brand is now) supplied Graphene on some of their activity to date. You are correct on your history point though this has all come out of the GIEC in Manchester.

Thomas, I suggest you educate yourself about the difference between a P&L and a Balance Sheet as you are mixing them up in your desire to show you know what you are talking about!

By the way whilst debt (or at least the servicing of it affects Profit) it IS a Liability and they are ALWAYS deducted from Assets, on the Balance Sheet, regardless of whether a company is making a profit or not, but surely you know all this don't you??

Thomas, good to see you continue to shred your (non existent) credibility, the level of assets a company has makes no difference to whether or not it is a going concern.

To help you out I will agree that cash (and more importantly cash flow) does matter - did you know that ca 80% of companies that fail are profitable? - I will also agree that VRS may well need more funds in the future, but following the December 2022 fund raise not either to get the accounts signed off or in the short-term.

CRRC were in the news the other day about the launch of a H2 and electric (supercap) train they were / are a VRS collaborator and so I wonder if there is any on-going involvement??

Jonno, if I recall correctly VRS were / are working in this space (and have been for a while) the collaboration with Tongshu was about Graphene heating and even the Lunar Pod comes with embedded Graphene heating.

Thomas, not making a profit doesn't stop an audit happening. Also most, if not all, Graphene companies are yet to make a profit and so are they also busted flushes?
