First good, and encouraging, news from TSTR for a long while!! Now I wish I was a trader!! So hopefully another RNS next week (first metal) before the real difficulties begin - the challenge of producing more in ever larger, consistent, quantity and quality.

I like the positive spin on the 'only' £63k / month cash burn figure meaning VRS are fully funded for the equivalent of 5 years, and I accept that it is very much a growing business and needs funding - but remember what this actually means is that they are spending £63k / month MORE than they earn so are losing ca £750k / year.

Well what a surprise a further delay - for an unspecified amount of time, my guess is goodbye to first metal in Q1 - and a further funding request! So 2 years late and two times the budget?? Also surprised (though probably not really) to see the Turkish mine (the original TSTR, and Eyi family, property) being sold, let's just hope it provides the TSTR portion of the funding requirements (with something left over to keep them ticking over until SPMP dividends / loan repayments kick in, in the mid 2020s).

fjetcrazy, I misread the tweet as I thought they were going to a reduced seasonal schedule rather than only be run during specific seasonal events.

I was also hoping for more of a growth story for rump fastjet (Zim & Moz) or news on FedAir in ZA, as that might improve the investment case, at the moment still seems to be very much a hand to mouth existence and so I shall continue to stay away....

Looked back at the time line for the Publication of the Vocab standard in 2017 (ISO 80004-13) and this phase took 6 weeks (27/07 to 06/09) so with Christmas probably by the end of January 2019....

We may be in for a very interesting New Year as the following link suggests that the standard that we are all waiting on is now very close (having entered the Publication phase on 12th December 2018)....as far as I can tell only editorial changes (eg typos) are allowed at this point, and reviewers have 2 weeks (ie by the 26th??) in which to submit comments, after which it becomes an official published standard.... https://www.iso.org/standard/66188.html Merry Christmas!!

They did, though that was before the last delay, and only relates to SPMP - any dividend from TSTR will be a year later due to respective FY ends

Given that the project is probably already ca 18 months overdue, why not (and Odey probably don't care - as long as it comes on stream eventually)... I hope it's not the case but my guess would be that the next news (in January sometime) will be another delay, and more than likely another cost overrun (based upon past history).

... if Commissioning will finally complete, and Production commence before year end (ie within the next 3 weeks)?? Whilst I hope for yes 2020 probably seems more likely given performance (and news flow) to date :-(

If the GECAS condition (ie the E190 lease) is not resolved does this take down FJET entirely or just FJ Tanzania??

Whilst it is indeed a new route, it isn't an additional one as Nampula(?) has been dropped from the schedule.

...though the anorak in me probably likes the fact that VRS appears to have been cash flow positive in the period (ie generated more than they consumed) even while investing in both 2D and Traditional businesses and making acquisitions!

Interesting to see the above Trade Mark has been applied for (on 7th November).... I wonder what this is (looks like some from of enhanced polymer to me).

Krispy, a trebling of the share price would indeed be welcome, I just don't think it's going to happen any time soon (and certainly not before the end of the year).
