RE: Monthly Production Returns9 Jan 2021 10:29
Morning Jonco. NIce to see a new poster here. Been in DKL long? I enjoy the monthly figures and it helps in one way because lack of news flow is the tombstone for the SP for many AIM shares. However I disagree with producing monthly figures on another level as it is potentially very destructive to the SP and actually counter productive. We are experiencing recently confirmation bias in DKL's figures as the numbers are arguably inherently weak but look great against very weak comparables. Also when you are analysing something as Tony Blair did during the Gulf War you should not take a single piece of evidence and extrapolate from it as it can be misleading. And like the dividend which DKL introduced and 'promised' that they intended to grow it but had to abandon it, if you make monthly production figures de rigeur when you remove them it is very damaging. And you might want to remove them if investors sell on one month's poor figures quite regularly and thus hamper the SP.
But I like them and months would not be the same if I couldn't play my DKL RNS production figures Bingo. By the way what do you make of the superb start for FFB collection, CPO and PKO to January 2021 to be announced Monday 11/1/21? All 9 days of it.
