I assume revenue is more weighted to H1 but CPO prices have been rising so perhaps 10 to 12 million revenues in H2 making around 28 million revenues? A net profit of 3 million euros? Not my area of expertise and I sure CAT or hereandnow or dbentley will be close to the mark. It will be interesting to compare as always when the atcual results come out.

Ok the SP discount to NAV has narrowed to 6% and there are some possible protectionist hurdles to be negotiated around Trump and Brexit but it comfortably beat the FTSE All-World Europe ex-UK by some margin. The introduction of an interim dividend is also welcome. NL the largest holding is now paying a divi which should also help EUT. 16% growth in the SP during the financial year is a good performance but its has gone up again since. I am happy to track this one upwards. Any buys at £9 or under will be rewarded here.

I have railed before against sloppiness in RNS's i.e wrong dates 2016 instead of 2017 and the debt forgiveness figures with Biopalm 1m euros or .5m euros etc. and an out of date website. Let's See if it is corrected by the next RNS. St Brides might want to give their proofreader a nudge to waken them up. One for the AGM methinks! There are some buys coming in and we seem to be edging up.I was hoping we could jump to 15p on the ask but I feel that 14.75p is just a staging post. That said there were some sells at 14.28 yesterday which shows some investors will be tempted to offload as we climb.

Actually the company only sets the record date. The ex-dividend date is set by Stock Exchange rules and is usually two business days before the record date. The company uses the record date to decides who should be sent proxy statements, financial reports and other information. Pedantic knife :)

Good article and it gave a boost to the SP I would say as some investors piled in. But it is just short-lived and I expect the falls to continue. It just doesn't have a support level. And the article doesn't factor in a second profit warning if things don't pick up. Another PW and you are loking at 80p and not 160p!

Yes you are right about the figure hereandnow as it was the guidance given on 17th of January. However it also said it will consider special dividends if and when it is appropriate. This I assume to be the current situation and not at the end of the three year progressive dividend policy. Higher margins in q2, higher extraction due toe the new empty fruit press from March 2017, better storage, higher production V April 2016 and the possibility of a record month in May due to Ramadan all give scope for perhaps a special divi when they have a handle on the probable outurn for the full year. Incidentally I will be opting for 100% shares in the scrip dividend.

And now to new recent lows even after the sell off. 120p which should have been some sort of pyscholoigical floor as it is even lower than the end of day price on RNS day. Where now for the bottom fishers, LTH, average downers, and those that believe the market got it wrong?? Agreed Strike! The buys are at full ask and in procession. A move up is all but inevitable now unless Dumper Dude spots the strength. I would love love us to skip 14.75p and move to 15p on the ask if it does happen. 15p is such key resistance that a breakthrough and a hold above it on consecutive days would mean we are on course for a breakout.

I would love to be proved wrong hereandnow as this potential deal is nowhere near appreciated or understood by the market. In fact I think the diversion from divis to the acquisition will make most sense to the board and we may even have a short-term hit. I am pretty sure the reason for the delay in the results is they want a headline grabbing but affordable amount to announce when the divi is finally announced. Not many AIM commodity companies pay a divi not to mind a progressive one so I expect some fanfare with the results. Imv the Nordpalm acquisition is quite small in scale- only 40% of the other Ghana collaboration- but as a statement of intent and widening of its operations across countries it is absolutely huge!

No they can't tie it up. They need guarantees from the Ghana government on debt forgiveness and that is not goingto happen with two weeks.

Especially now the dust has settled and speculators have been in and out. This points to further falls to me as some bottom feeders would underpin the price. It also suggests that something is not quite right with this company and the market knows it.

Well they will have had a good months including two of the high season added to the very good start of the year production numbers.May should be good too with Ramadan starting end of May/.early June and therefore CPO will be stockpiled and purchases brought forward to May. Cat, we should be doing two-thirds of annual production in H1 so you are right it is a vital period. I ownder will the AGm be same day or a week later, I assume they will have new resolutions on share issuance that need waving through. That old chestnut! But we should get renewed interest with buyers positioning themselves before results. I will say we will be at 15p bid and 16p ask by results day.

I did think so initially LeMajor too but Nordplam ticks all their boxes. It is a distressed asset, going on the cheap, with existing mills for CPO and PKO so it is shovel ready. It was profitable but has hit turbulence and offers diversification away from IC but close to the major market of Nigeria. Given the company already has a collaboration in Ghana ( though this has gone quiet) then maybe there is a larger scale expansion into Ghana planned. The major players in Indonesia and Malaysia are severely restricted in their ability to acquire land so will have to look abroad. It is then that the geographical footprint of DKL will look very appetising and valuable as an asset to be acquired. Ghana is far more stable than IC as well so less of a deterrent to foreign investors. The issue I have is the debt forgiveness by the Ghanian government. Allegedly ahem the only thing not crooked in Ghana is the letter "S". So how the deal will be negotiated is one that we will have to wait patiently for. OTOH the board are very well versed in West Africa and well connected so they won't be biting off more than they can chew!
