RE: Is the spread 4.8/4.95?3 Aug 2018 11:40
Morning Phil. Of course your are right about the relativeness of the quarters but it is the frequency with which DKL tend to undershoot, the lack of real growth at a time when previous comparatives should be benign, the pulling of rabbits like Ghana and Norpalm from seemingly nowhere only for them to quickly fade into the background and the lack of any open market purchases by the board - even the newly appointed!- leads me to think that at best the Board are asleep at the wheel.
The SP has been on a month on month downward spiral for a prolonged period with lower highs and lower lows being set. DKL has not managed to string two decent quarters together for quite some time so I think most investors would at this stage be incredibly pleased with one quarter, not to mind two! Even their taking poetic license and elongating the CPO high season to begin in January has only resulted in poorer figures.
Time for the board and company to stop to get a grip on its core production and stop chasing distractions and making excuses for failure.
