Would that be the same evidence they have had in all the previous placings? If so I would be on to a no win no fee lawyer had I been an II. Dibs61 is right in that they are good at getting away placing and I am sure you all welcome the dilution. The company are also adept at rising admin costs and an increased headcount with a sprinkling of speculative and over-optimistic forecasting. More of a basket-case than an investment case imo but as always the SP will out.

Yeah pity Phil. Hope we can meet next year. You, j/k ,dbentley as well as cat and rugs are invaluable contributors here and can certainly bring good ideas to the agm. It's pretty tough trying to be balanced and constructive when the SP performance has been so dreadful at the meetings but the board are always fair and non defensive I have found. Even tougher when scribbling notes too. I hope though next time can get some more posters show up so we can put faces to names. I really hope we have hit the low here and we really have good news going forward to shape our posts.

As I said earlier to j/k they have successfully tested the 75t and ultimately want a 90t per hour operation. Youval was unable to say when full production would be reached as it would be "just a guess." There is competition for fruit as a lot of small mills are popping up. I wonder if they might want to acquire these. They said some of the smaller farmers have no money for fertiliser and ceratinly DKl's model is farmers get paid less when CPO price is lower. DKL are constantly revising strategy for small stakeholders in order to find the best solution. The nursery is seeing a year on year increase on plants going out. There were several thousand taken out from the nursery and the benefit will be seen when production increases they said. They have also increased the number of smallholders which was initially 27000. I raised the issue of the lack of director buys which can be seen as a lack of belief in their own company. Furthermore they are sitting on worthless options of 12p and 20p. They said they were locked in from buying for a year and half and that it wasn't a lack of desire or belief. Youval has noted my comments on this matter. I asked given the acquistion of the cashew company do they see themselves as primarily a CPO company or what was the new weighting? They said the company vision statement was a west african agri-economic company.Youval said most companies like Siva do two crops but he was interested in 3 CPO, Cashew and Cacao. I asked about a rights issue to pay for an acquisition and he said he would look for the best solution. Therefore I wonder is this something that is being closely explored. I must say they answered questions very openly. They were appreciative of questions and mindful of the challenge ahead. They are also aware that progress from previous agms and of course the SP performance has been unsatisfactory. Whether this is down to poor macro environmental issues weighing on the shares outwith the board's control and this ship can be successfuly steered back on course or we are pursuing a course for the rocks remains to be seen . Youval himself professed himself aware of concerns and declared himself ready for the challenge.

They are looking at RSPO accreditation a weekly basis to ensure they are compliant. At the AGM last year they had hoped to have it completed by xmas 2017. I understand though that these things do take time and clearly the length of the process will be detrimental to competitors once DKl successfully complete. I asked about the Ghana 10000 hectare project and was told this was dropped once Norpalm became an interest. Youval said it was "lucky" they did not acquire Norpalm at the time because of current CPO prices. I asked was interest in Norpalm over and Youval said they dont want to become involved in an internal dispute between (Norpalm) shareholders. There fore I assume Norpalm are split between those who want to sell and those who think they carry on as they are. Youval is keen on having 2 or 3 crops in order to diversify revenue sources whicj would minimise cycle risk.

Part 2 was as per the Agm statement. He did say that from trips around the site there is more fruits on the trees. I asked about the weather and he said there was a lot of rain in the region this year and explained that this was good for CPO and the effect is seen typically after 2 years. I asked about who is the largest holder Youval or Miton and Youval himself didnt know. St Brides checked the website and the figure was 16.05 to 16.04. One of the resolutions was about ussuing shares and I was surprised they didnt have the calculation about how much it would raise. They did helpfully do the calculation and it comes to £2.5m. Youval still insists that issuing shares in lieu of payment is a positive but I once again said paying small sums via shares sends a very poor signsl to investors and shareholders. They said no decision has been made yet but in the event of a business opportunity they would use the facility. I do wonder if this is further along than they can say.

Ok some feedback from my notes. Just two shareholders there and I doubt the other shareholder posts here as she didn't speak at all. Lincoln was not present for personal reasons. Some of the regulars who do attend were also not present so there was a different dynamic this year. I was told by the admin person at the ground floor that I couldn't vote as my shares were in a nominee account. I have voted previously. Cat has explained why this might be so but wasnt an issue or anything untoward from my pov. All the resolutions were carried by a large majority anyway. The auditors were re-appointed. I asked have they ever changed them and they said no they have been with them since the beginning. I know recently where the finance director of a large Lse listed company had been massaging the figures there was criticism that the company had the same auditor all the time. I would be interested of any posters know what the AIM guidance is. I dont suggest there is anything wrong with the accounts or the auditors just it is possibly worth looking at every company you invest in or want to invest in. Morning all. I attended the agm and will do a write up later. Specifically in answer your questions the smallholders are still 95% of the supply and 5% from their own plantations. They are seeing more going out from their nurseries year on year and therefore hope to see an increase next year. The benefit will be seen when production is returns to higher levels. They have successfully tested 75t per hours and are confident they can handle this but their aim is 90t per hours and they are working towards achieving this.

1200p on the bid has arrived. Churchill sure is fighting em on the beaches these days. Very strong buying in the last few days so it will be interesting to see where it will stop. Very tempted to cash in having being a buyer since 870p.

Hope so Rugs. It has been beaten down a lot. They have never exercised the authority at the last agm to buy back up to 5% of shares. That would help to underpin the SP. News on the cashew business must be imminent but not sure that this would pre-empt buying shares. Nice buy this afternoon Rugs for sure but we are not even at full ask being paid.
Every agm I have attended the message has been "Be patient. The market doesn't understand the value of the company. We have some initiatives to get the story out there and increase income." And every year the SP has gone backwards. Changing output to outcome would be nice

The fact that you can tells its own story. It won;t be long before its downward trajectory is resumed. even Share puffits can't boost the SP on FLX despite having called it wrong for so long.

Did you also know that OKYO has its own BB? And that you would have to be a complete moron to post on a board named TILS instead of OKYO?

Today's RNS was meant to shore up the SP by airing some projections. Someone dumped almost 16k of shares just after 9am at a below bid price. That person had to ship a sizeable loss on these having got just 2.8p.
Their credibility, what little of it is left, will be shot to shreds if they announce any placing soon. The MM's are happy to dole these out at 2.9p as they know it will be lower shortly. I bet it is hard to sell in any volume.

afloat. You would have thought bargain hunters would underpin the price. But as soon as it claws back a little say to 3p on the bid currently it gets sold down aggressively. This is only going backwards until there is some clarity on funding and a placing. No doubt some posters here are still claiming to be in profit but I bet most have been diluted down to the point where these are just a bottom drawer share.

wash-out! Sure the brand is good but investors have got a real soaking. They point to the small few cool days in September where they traded well. This hardly inspires me to think the important second half will recover. I doubt even the naked trader would be interested in this outfit.

Morning Dibs. Where would that poster got that info on the placing from? Doesn't seem to be publicly available tmk. Maybe a leaky board member. Looks a bit foolish if true as it would be a new one from FLX- a placing at a premium. Today's fall is probably due to the wider market bloodbath but I bet this one will recover more slowly-if it does that is- than the wider market. I think they might be able to get a 2p placing away now but if it sinks below 2.5p I think they will struggle.
