@Lilac, many a time I’ve bought shares,for them to drop immediately.Darktrace ,Evraz and Menzies.Left them alone and after x amount of time was fortunate to make profits.I don’t know your risk appetite/ personal circumstances…..so it’s a case of do you get out now with a loss,or wait patiently.I love the market,but as a novice I’ve made many a mistake.Maybe the solution for you is to sell a small percentage? then sit back and relax.

I’m trying to work out if there’s a drop in sp on Friday and Monday….due to sales to meet the tax year deadline.But will the same people then re buy in an ISA on Tuesday….and up we go again.

I’m surprised about Wress,he seemed clued up.Pretty sure he had a very good average.Hope I’m not the silly one for staying, ( currently sitting on Evraz,so delighted with Polys performance in the last week,but can’t help but feel nervy. )

Morning Harry,generally speaking the mere talk of a take over pushes the sp up.In the last 12 months it happened with Bhp,Glencore,Morrisons and Menzies.Bear in mind the take overs don’t always happen.My average here this time round is 1.20….so sitting in a loss.However RR will come good either way ,a company like this,patience is key.
