Good morning @andsoforth,thanks for the info.Re takeovers, I was lucky to make a little money from Morrisons and Blue Prism.I have a combination of aviation,tech,mining,retail and banks.The only reason my portfolio is now very slightly in profit is due primarily to Menzies this week.What type of stocks do you hold ?

@andsoforth,Im new to investing with a lot to learn.It’s been stated that when the takeover happens the shares are automatically sold ( ie no option to hold / transfer to new company )…I am now confused ( richer than last week though,thanks to Menzies )

Good morning,same as everyone here I’m so pleased that I bought into Menzies a while ago.I am somewhat confused though.If I were to hold until and after the takeover,are my shares automatically cashed in or do they become shares in the new company?

My Vmuk shares show ( XD ) as of this morning.However I can’t find any info about a dividend being paid ?

Good morning,does anyone here hold their BHP shares with Hargreaves?The reason I ask is the indicators on the RHS of my account are all grey. Normally the indicators are dark blue.I’m just concerned as wondering if the stock has been frozen .

@Spar12,Good morning.I have a huge holding in IAG,currently running at a loss.The news is constantly reporting that Russias attack on Ukraine is imminent,and that COVID figures are soaring in Germany.Can’t help but think that all of the above will send the sp down again?Looks like we are the only 2 awake at the moment,I’m curious to know your thoughts?

@billybigwig, I was one of the numpties that panic sold 5 weeks or so ago,due to. My other shares then taking a bashing.I bought back later at a higher price.So please come back when you’re ready.
