Remember CMBC is a Private company and not subject to Market rules. The JV agreement should have protocols in place on Accounts reporting.

Strange to read results are delayed due to CMBC figures not being signed off by Auditors. Is there a dispute between JV partners? Accounts are usually pawed over and agreed many days before incorporation into Holding companies. Could it be Carlsberg are wanting figures released which will put Marstons in a bad place?

Banbury, this Board led by Graham Swindells has never been protectors of small PI's. It has been demonstrated time and again 1 major shareholder and now a 2nd are little by little obtaining complete control.
The BOD are sitting on huge options which can only kick in once pricing targets are achieved. This in my opinion is a reason why GS and co are not adding to their meagre holdings, but rather through the extremely friendly Remunerations Committee, recieving what imo are obscene salary awards. It would make more sense should salary awards be linked to annualised increases in the SP. It is unlikely to happen now the balance of control has shifted in one direction.
The fear is and has been for some time, shareholdings are in place to take the company Private. That is a worry for all loyal LTH's.

My opinion... as many PI's as possible should attend the AGM and let the BOD know of the doubt the existing Execs have created and must be replaced.

If Hargreaves hold your shares in Trust (the norm) they should have sent you documents that require your immediate attention, this will include a vote. If you have not received anything electronically, try accessing your online account with Hargreaves. You should find a page that contains all documents which require attention. Details of the AGM and the various proposals will be there for you to consider and vote on.

The AGM is on 7th December, a posse of SH's must attend, asking the BOD to justify the huge salary increases. We will no doubt be told the Rumeration Committee have compared salaries with those in similar companys. This is a well used excuse, the cycle needs to be broken. A proposition should be put forward, " in view of the failure at Serenity, salaries should be reduced until target values of the SP is achieved".

GGG I tend to agree. The NS has never been a happy "hunting ground" for us, where as Canada, basically saved the Company. Suspect Majid wants to plough on with NS, Graham had a different vision with Canada. More the pity Graham could not continue, just hope hi successor can influence Majid.
