Morning dear chap, I was away all day Friday with no access to check on whats happenning. Read through info on various positions and now caught up a bit. Two posiible shares to tuck into an Isa for 12 month. AVG, CNSG. these may not be your scene but thought you may like to take a look and make your own decisions. I will be taking a few on Monday with a 12-18mth view. Checked my positoin on RIA and seem to have accumulated 450000 at around 1.8 average so looking not too bad a start. ATB mate and have a good weekend-.--PS when are you back to your day job? I got sniff of it a day or two ago. Well done on that by the way, I hope that you are happy with the outcome.

That nibble at SNAK I took a couple of days ago was rather timely--and entirely down to your accurate research and unfaltering positive posting. I usually at check things as best I can for myself but this time was short of time and took a leap of faith. Bubbly on ice old chap.

Small fry I know, but some time ago (2years) I noticed how busy it was in Soccer Sports--Thought it would be a good idea to invest---I was not wrong. Early this year we were looking fo a new kitchen. I asked around at work, I asked builders and family friends where to go fo a decent mid range Kitchen. All apart from1 said Howdens so I bought some shares. (not a kitchen yet) but I am looking at 30% up on the SP. Planned expansion of non-high street outlets and strategic aquisitions bodes well for a further 30% at least IMO over the next 6-12months.--Looking for a fee kitchen out of it lol

Topped up a couple of days ago for the third time. With the excellent research and postings on here, the committed BOD with their own investment in the company, the presentation by Rob Shepherd at Oilbarrel and the imminent news RIA is demonstrating positive momentum for a brilliant recovery.

Hold till the SP reaches 24p and the chart will look like a big Smiley.--I like things to look tidy and balanced---Not an orthodox investing strategy but hey. Treacle , if you read this, have you escaped from Mirl or still holding?

Afternoon all Treacle, seriously congrats on URU. I watched your solo postings for a week or so with all of your news shared with anyone that could be bothered to read it. I admired your dedication. You have made a few shillings for quite a number of peeps today and for no personal gain. All credit to you. I was tempted but didn't go for it. Can't win them all--- Just topped up here today though sub 2p--Jam tomorrow, Jam next week and Jam for a while to come I think. Director buys for not insignificant amounts show serious commitment so sit back and relax.

Afternoon to you Treacle. Still hard at work here, you deserve to be successful with your unfailing effort and having to fend off some of the clowns that adorn the boards. Ref LVL 2 providers, I have seen that ADVFN is recommended by certain traders. I haven't got to LVL2 yet but I have to say that I find the ADVFN page a little busy and not so easy on the eye, I am with you on Money AM, I just use it for live prices and trades info at the moment--although I appreciate that it doesn't give the full picture--still learning. I topped up here a little the other day and now have 160000 at 1.7. Not a good as your 1.3 but with an early target of around 4p with longer term looking like a potential 10p, (All in MHO) I think it is a good average. I noticed a follow up interview after the oilbarrel presentation where Shepherd certainly appeared genuine and happy to report that the tide has turned for Rialto. I got the impression that he would not have presented in such a relaxed and open manner if he was hiding something--just my view. I definately share your opinion that RIA is a gem. ECR went belly up again so I don't feel so bad about getting out last week. Pity our MIRL has met with the clowns and faced a bit of a set back as a result of the herd panic selling, it would have been nice to see it a a little higher than now--I guess we are back to the starting price again and have it all to do in front of us. Keep up the good work. I would love to know who you are and have a small libation with you one day--

Just another 10p on top of the closing SP and I will break even. Nearly sold out for a 60% loss yesterday but couldn't be bothered--onwards and upwards

Game changing management reschuffle and focus on delivering/monetising conservative estimates of existing hydrocarbons at Cote D'ivoire. Farm in partner, reduction in overheads, new and revised PSC agreement as good as in the bag--early uptrend in SP over past few weeks --in fact 100% in 3 months. Strong buying pressure over last couple of weeks. Even the pea brained amongst us must be able to work it out (self included and no offense directed at any peas reading the board). This really is just the beginning.

evening to you. There will be chaos and mayem on the ECR board tomorrow. Some will make a good profit day trading and others will get smacked with their pants down. If you feel like a wild punt, I would keep it small. If you have level 2 you might be in with a chance of getting in and out at the right time. If you are just trading blind---like me, (although I do have live prices at least) then be careful. Please do not take any of this as investing advice, make your choices enjoy the success and learn from mistakes--I have an entire library full of them !. Must go--until tomorrow

ps mine wasn't the 2.6 million buy --neither was it 3mill last week. lol. Ho Hum--I said that I would regret offloading ECR---up 30% from my sell price from last week.. Off home to lick my wounds. Tomorrow is another day. ATVB
