Yep, this was a Treacle job. There was a cock n bull story about young abramovich being involved and that the company was looking at airport logistics, oil and gas services and a couple of other things.

Bet the bank that this would not be available through HFX online. Have been waiting to get out immedialtely on the bell--wasn't happy with buying a pie in the sky development that will only require funding and dilution at cost to pi's. This has been months sitting as dead money and was hoping to get out within first few seconds. Not an 'f'ing chance. Anticipated drop to placing price or thereabouts and could not understand anyones view that this was a good deal. I would love to be able to eat these words by the end of the week--can only live in hope.

Points are back to as they should in trading A/C. Joined the party slightly late yesterday but showing a 200 profit for an hours work--Brilliant spot for those that saw the c*ck up early. Lets see how we go today and tks for the posters that brought it to everyones attention. Not sure who started it but SFU, AT, Riddler and Stubbs all had a hand in it. Cheers guys

Nobody really enjoys change and this is more of a change than most were perhaps anticipating. Not overjoyed at the prospect of 11p, depends how the market views it but prima facie---slightly gutted. At least its not another mining or wild cat oil explorer. ,

Echo TRV comments that you just never know. I sold edg recently for about 8p at a small loss to put the money into something else which is doing ok but not as well as EDG which has doubled. There is still a lot of positive comments on the board too so it may go higher. I also sold out of AZO at a small loss some time ago as wasnt prepared to wait for what I felt was going to be too long (year plus). But the stock market and indeed life in general rotates in cycles, so unless they go bust, there is a good possibility that an AZO up-cycle will happen. Directors have bought in at much higher figures etc, I would check back through items like the Rob Sheppard interviews, the following rns's and work out risk/reward from here on and ask yourself would you buy this share today. You will then answer your own question--hopefully. G.L.

76p each share on HFX. My holding now worth £435000--same on VIY---suspended shares seem to have a 'glitch'.

Just looking at my wife's ISA, she now has £435000 in there. MEN which is also suspended has a price of 77.6p---if only it were true >

O/T, Sorry all. Yep AFPO--way overdue with the 6-9m delays, had quite a big holding there at just over 3p, had to let some go a while back but bought a small top up at 1.99 etc. Should be an excellent 6-12 months over there. Lets hope we do OK here after such a wait. Have these in wifes ISA. She wants a new kitchen--conservatory, lanscaped garden, bathroom, wooden floor, holiday, home overseas, some new clothes lol. Should be OK then when we start up again 1000% would put a dent in the shopping list. (Apart from the home overseas) AFPO will have to pay for that one. Hope you are well mate--its all that really counts in the end.

Had a look at the article, they mentioned an item hidden in the last budget that may force banks to refer those turned down by the mainstream lender to an alternative source. There has been a consultation period that completed 2 weeks ago and that the legislation may not be long coming forward. But---On second read through the article it appears to be promoting a website called Alternative Business Funding whom act on behalf of vaioius lenders registered with the site. The prospective lender types in the amount of loan required and I guess some brief details of the purpose etc and the site matches the request to whatever lenders criteria are the best match. I tried the site but couldnt get very far--possibly my company IT security or just a crap site. The 'hope' factor from the article was that this company ABF would get themselves onto the mainstream bank system and I presume act in a similar way to comparison sites. After all, I probably should not have bothered you with it as it is rather tenuous !. ATB

Has anyone here run a slide rule over the deal to try and estimate some kind of value to the deal and what the Sp is likely to be? We can all guess and come up with 3p or 5p but some calcs would be good before readmission. Apologies for asking but I cannot work it out.

Morning sir Jolly. Read yesterday that the govt are pushing through a bill to encourage/instruct high st bankers to offer SME's an 'alternative' source of finance if they are unable to assist directly through the bank. ie to provide a 'lead' to an alternative approved lender that is not part of the bank and that 'fits' with the type of loan required. The idea being that many small businesses contact their bank, get refused and give up without knowing what else may be available. I meant to keep the paper to quote directly you but mrs ezhik binned it. Was yesterday London evening std. Could be interesting for RNVO. If poss, I will try and look it up--maybe online.

Cannot see why at the moment, but its no surprise at this was the only share in my PF that is not seriously in the red, and now it is heading the same as everything else.

Many similarities eh?, similar risks, similar % client growth rates over period, but almost similar EBIT for approx half the period. Henderson have a big stake in both plus other ii's and director holdings, Maybe the diff is that I for one had never heard of RNVO until I had a scoot through postings today to see what you were up to lol and maybe this is completely off everyone's radar. Conversely I have been aware of OPM for 6/9 months or so--read something about them in a share blag mag. Guess that next trading statement and a return to profit or news of further investments/aquisitions may help increase awareness. Perhaps Mr Market prefers the more client/lower lending values model. I dunno, otherwise, get buying before Mr M wakes up. I guess that you have a small stake here already--one step ahead. GL and tks for reply
