It’s simple really. Ravenswood from memory has AISC of $1000/oz.
At 1200 gold price it’s not worth much.
At $2000, it’s generating $1 billion profit before tax per 1 mill oz.
at lower gold prices for the mcap, the exploration side was deemed not to be worth spending the money on.
At $2000 per oz particularly as Ravenswood just been sold for $300 mill it’s worth doing as it offers tremendous value for shareholders.

They’ve had the licenses for over 8 years

To the west of WSBN II is charters tower which is the largest highest grade deposit in aus. They have produced 6.6 million oz of gold over 46 years at an average grade of 38g/t.
To the east is Ravenswood that sold for $300 million.
These licenses are hot property. Looks like the party here has yet to start. Big week next week

20p certainly possible. With the gold trading arm hopefully picking back up again following Covid and the exploration being hit aggressively in the Same trend as the $300 mill ravenswood then why not mate ?

Licenses are excellent and have always been excellent. The recent ravenswood sale at $300 mill shows how much value there is here. Same geology

Exploration here has explosive upside. Licenses are brilliant and they have funds now for aggressive exploration. Should be a big re rate now.

I expect 5-6 p over next few weeks. With gold flying and ravens wood which is in the same structural fault selling for $300 mill and being a hive of activity this could be spectacular- despite the dodgy history
