Think you are right and 25p is achievable. The reason- results still possibly 4 weeks away and %increase past week shows how much support and belief there is in the next RNS

My take on lookers is than Panmure Gordon target Sp optimistic. But, may get market reaction in the segment especially with increase now in PDG. The BIO's are looking good now and have bought up more VRP. Something simmering there IMO.

Last 2 years the results were issued on 21st and 22nd Feb so my money would be around 4 weeks from now, but I'm only guessing.

I've taken a look at lookers. Good rise today, but little volume. Think there could be money to be made there but I'm sticking with PDG until results

The co. has a number of shares in circulation. Consumers buy these and sell these at the stock exchange. Supply and demand influence the price. Today, good demand for this share. More people buy than sell. SP goes up. Why are people buying? Research the company. Results due soon. If results good more demand for shares, SP goes up = profit for shareholder when selling. Also PDG mentioned last year that it intends to start paying dividends this year.

Did you get in here before SP went up?

Just posted to another chap who seems knowledgable regarding mm code of 35. That was when SP was 19.75 Think there was my answer looking at SP now. Increases my stake here by 40% last week at 18.50 ish Hope this pays off!

Sp above 20p. It's important to get this sp away from the "penny share" without consolidation. Wilsman. You may be right with this one. May get a bull run on the SP on the way to results. Hope you are right. Ironically, I sold some of these recently to buy a new car. I do think these will rise as part of the 3-4 yearly car cycle. As I said in my previous posts, you can't hold off buying a new car forever. SP has fallen over past 3 years- particularly last year with the rights issue. I would expect SP to rise further from here. I'm not sure how much of the dividend idea has been factored into the SP. Remain neutral about this last point and am happy to wait and see

If you look back at the majority of the RNS which have been average/good, the SP tends to drop slightly afterwards. This co. has a lot of debt, which seems to be managed well IMO. This is still my main holding, so hope you are right, but I don't share your optimism. Think SP increase will be a slow burner. But hey, I'm in no rush!

Yes. I've followed it closely- and have done nothing. Just bought a new car so don't have free cash without offloading some others first. How much higher do you think realistically it will go? Great call though!

Thanks for that. Currently don't have any bios at the moment but will have a look at the 3 you recommend. Keeping my PDG for a bit longer, but admittedly sold a few off recently myself. Going to keep a sneaky eye on HMV though. I can see it doing a JJB, but may get stuck in with daily trades if and when it drops further. Hoping on WET to come good. Had some of these anyway when someone else gave me a tip. Big risk but big profits! Best of luck for the new year.

Happy new year. Just out of interest what is your top 3 this year? Agree PDG is unlikely to double or triple this year, but saying that if we could end up on say 25p by this time next year then I will be happy. Too hard to predict though, like all those holders of Thomas cook would testify.
