Would expect cash payment with the JDA.
After all- how can you have a legally binding contract without paying a penny in cash?
Would you buy a house without paying any cash upfront?

Fusion- 5 weeks is not a lot of time. Could be political to get this tied up with Chinese links.
They appear confident it’s happening. I am confident this will be going up a lot more

Fusion- it’s a future event but the Chinese have given themselves 5 weeks to tie up the JDA. Why would they do that unless it was in the bag? I agree to a point. Some mou’s never come off. But they have given themselves a very short deadline. If the RNS said deadline 2 years it would probably spike and retrace. But 5 weeks it is

But this looks like the real deal to me and a good journey up in anticipation. The JDA will be legally binding and dependent on terms could really rerate this. Have to see pal.

It’s a different country but what I think will happen is gcm will take a free carry of say 30% of the new company and then take 30% of the profit. The debt sourced by the Chinese using Chinese workforce’s.
I said today that if gcm have those numbers then they should be making $400 million profit per year.
That’s of course an if. But on a p/e of 10 that values gcm at $4 billion or circa £50 per share.
Fantasy? Maybe but I haven’t seen a Chinese co. Want to JDA so quickly. When this is done it derisks hugely.

4000mw is massive. Andalas are trying imo unsuccessfully to develop 15 (yes fifteen) MW power generation.
This is 4000 scaleable to 6000. I know the estimated revenues reported on nccl- because I hold there. But that is based on 300mw and this is over 10x that. It should be billions of dollars per year revenues. Maybe hard to believe but unless anyone comes up with evidence to suggest it won’t be then I’m sticking with that.
But Dyor obviously. I think personally we will see it bagging from here.
