yep. Ive heard many tweets suggesting the government want to lock down to "control people" however that imo cant be correct. More lockdowns reduce the money coming in through tax. SO if you believe the government are greedy and want to rip people off with taxes, it doesnt fit that they would want to bankrupt their own country.
Tough decisions ahead. IMO I think some countries will charge or point blank refuse treatment for the unvaccinated.

There is no conspiracy with this.
The thought of every country in the world including China, USA and Russia coming together to trick the world- not happening either. chinese and Russians colluding with us? Nope.
Issue is about treating. The numbers of positive tests is largely irrelevant. Its the numbers that turn up to A and E or ring 999 that need treating that has, and always will be the issue.
My rather clever friend suggested to me last year that covid treatments should be withdrawn. Sounds harsh but if you remove the chance of someone being able to be treated for free by picking up the phone, they will change their personal habits and he said its natures way of a being a bummer of natural selection.

poorinvestor- yep.I dont get a great feeling TBH. I think COVID stocks will run over next few weeks until the vaccine results against the new variant are known. Certainly a bit worrying in terms of containment with 10% of the 2 planes being positive for covid. The chances of keeping this out of the UK are probably zero and just balance of probability means there will be dozens of cases in the UK over the next week.

The Marula prospect on the license which has 210 million barrels has NPV net to Global of over $600 million. Consider that the CPR has 2.9 billion barrel target. If they strike on the license then the NPV here could be over $6 billion.
Let that sink in. That’s almost a 1000 bagger here.
