The arguments he put forward as to why you shouldn’t buy the shares (which I think are not true anyway) applied to when held the shares.
If the arguments as to why you shouldn’t buy the shares apply, then he would not have bought any. Simple as that. Bipolar traders I have no time for.
It’s either a strong buy or strong sell dependent on whether they are in or out. Cannot be trusted at all.

Smudgedan- I didn’t get any in the placing but I will add in weakness. I want some anyway and have cash waiting

So in other words- I wouldn’t be surprised if briefly this goes sub 7p. But also I wouldn’t be surprised if this is over 10p by Friday close. No one can know for sure. Have powder to add so happy to take my chance next week

Just to add - people expecting say 6p.
As we all know placings are often pre - sold. That is between the announcement date and date of share admission the selling is aggressive.
Difficulty here is working out whether anyone has pre sold their shares before the AGM. As we know the placing was conditional on the AGM vote.
So people may ask how can a placing be pre sold before the agm?
Well shorting is essentially borrowing shares for a fee, to return them to your broker at a later date.
It is possible to short the stock pre agm and use the placing shares to settle the short post agm.
I am not sure how many would have done that. Hence hard to call what the overhang is.
Personally I think sub 8P is a buy zone.
You could in hope wait for lower but there are no guarantees it will come as we don’t know how many are presold pre agm- as point above

Now the placing has been done, the Shares are now being forward sold before their admission date.
Doubt anyone will be selling at a loss and there is demand at 8p. We await the TR1’s to see if any sticky money in the placing by Bown. Counting the trades to see work out when the bounce is likely to come.
If anyone is expecting 6p buy in, or even 4.5p buy in you maybe waiting a long time as I doubt that will happen. You can never say never of course but 6p placees selling at a loss ?? Really ??

I have called it perfectly. I said it would hit 20p and it did. I said post AGM it could drop but hard to call bottom. I said I doubt you would see 6p.

Bankfool- if you look at the likes of AVCT- they can put on £25 mill per day on a reasonable rns.
Thats why any positive news on VAL201 or 301 Will rerate this. My previous post about liquidity is important. Pharmas do need money to progress and with this sector in the past proving difficult, it has been an issue on a number of shares.

Pharma’s on aim typically and historically have less liquidity than say Nasdaq counterparts.
I think that’s changed now

DND- agree. Gold stocks and pharmas for the foreseeable imo

Sambar- my bad. I included fitbio as a £250k just as a monetary amount- not as a compound.
Any whiff of positive news and it multibags.

MrTrotter- personally don’t use stop losses. Shares have such volatility hour to hour not much point.

MrTrotter- I think the decline yesterday was due to the seller dumping a lot of stock. True, if you had a stop loss it could have been triggered but the sp action was more imo to do with a seller rather than stop losses.
