Melissa - I can understand your frustration if you believe in Blockchain and Bitcoin in general. If Vela need working capitol then they need working capitol and if they have been working on another investment or 2 or 3 then they must believe it's for the benefit of the business/shareholders. A Bitcoin bubble is a real possibility as was the .com/tech bubble!!! Bubbles happen and when they burst you don't want to be anywhere near the fan. There are hundreds of potential multi baggers out there in all the world's markets and the board at Vela may know something we don't.
Instead of being angry he binned something you liked, give him time to prove his worth. He has multiple past successes and at the end of the day most of us are invested in HIM as well as his choices.
Keep your fingers on the pulse and if you are not happy then bail. It's your money and losses can always be made back if you make the right decisions.

I can only think they've sold blockchain because they feel the Bitcoin rise is a bubble which is about to burst like the tech bubble of 2000. I was day trading then and my heart sank when I was witnessing the pop!!!
Also - they may have another target to invest in or they may want to put more in to an existing investment. They can't state their intentions as it will affect the shareprice of the new target investment so e mailing them asking what's going on won't help.
Have faith - JN knows what he is doing : )

Please remember chums, last I knew, Blind has skin in this game, so take confidence from that. BoDs also have skin in this game as does Mubadala and a few other high profile iis. Despite vaccines, covid rolls on and this will detrimentally effect peoples finances - Amigo is needed and the FCA knows that. Office - the only right time to sell is when you are in profit and you are happy with your haul. I bought jet2 at 4.36 and sold at 8.22 and it's been as high as the 14s + since - ahhh wel!!!!! : )

As for OMI, there will - I feel - be an RNS or news of some kind before the webinar on the 26th. Monday morning is my best bet for an RNS, so if you want to be in to your max then be full loaded by Friday 16.25 : )
I can't conceive there will be bad news and also FOMO may make an appearance pre the 26th.

I want to let you all know that BDD is in hospital with covid which is causing him breathing problems and attacking his gastro organs. He can't keep liquids down and is on a drip and oxygen. He lives in Lancashire and the hospital he is in he describes as being like a war zone with people on trolleys in corridors!!!!
BDD is a long term holder here and it was he who got me in to OMI.
He is in his 30s - he is only young and the effect covid has had on him is a massive surprise.

ALL OF YOU keep safe and well because money is no good to you if you are dead!!!!!!!!!!
