1) A definative knowledge of the number of complainants
2) The amount in £s it is going to take to settle these claims IAW the scheme and over how long

HH - what I think Amigo needs is a strong compliance dept. We know the amount of tests we had to sit to be able to do our job. The FSA as was used to validate their salaries by inventing new rules every day and we had to jump through the hoops to be able to give advice. I think this is what's happened to Amigo. The FSA as was invented rules, Amigo woud take those on board, then the FSA would change the rules and either not tell Amigo or test them on the new rules - or - Amigo didn't do the compliance work!!! Whichever way you look at it, something stinks!!!

Ha Ha - I'm a judo Orange but I'll give you a go - Ha Ha. Fin Cons wise I was taught by the best and my future son in law is about to become a fully qualified accountant so I'm happy. I'm also happy with this BoD and their expertise to get us through this storm. It's all about communication and negotiation and as long as rules are set in stone and Amigo 2.0 stick to them a judge should find in our favour. Stick to the rules and there is no need to end this company!!!

I feel that those of influence should bring the plight of Amigo to the attention of the treasury so the influence of government policy could be brought to bear on the FCA. The longer covid goes on, the more accessible credit will be needed by all. The Treasury must know this and if they stick their nose in here we will benefit.
30th March is D Day for us. I don't think it is s**t or bust as there are always alternatives, but on the positive side, Amigo are continually working with the FCA to satisfy them concerning the scheme and will do so up to the 30th March.

I chat to Blind by text and I have asked everyone in the past to be kind to him - he has an insight that we cannot know about!!!! I know I don't run this bb, but I am asking again - nicely - to be kind to Blind and listen to what he has to say. I am a bit biased as Blind and I have both served in the forces, so we always look after each other, (Lawson, Richmond ETC), so whatever you feel towards CMCs give this one a break!!!!

This statement is THE biggest sentence in the whole RNS!!!! So - Sarah at Debt Camel - chew on this, then tell your fans not to agree to the scheme or refuse to pay what they owe!!!!! At least they will then get what they deserve!!!!! NOTHING!!!!

If you miss a payment it has a detrimental effect on your credit score unless it's government approved cos of covid. Ex Amigo clients don't have good credit scores anyway - that's why they came to Amigo.

Evening Chum - Advice is advice. I can't catagorically tell someone what is best for them. I can give my opinion, but if I'm not qualified anymore then I can't advise. I CAN introduce someone to an advisor though!!!

As you know - I used to be a Financial Consultant for the PRU. Iknownuffin is also an independent Financial Consultant and we both know that in order to give out financial advice you have to have passed the initial qualifications and continued compliance exams which are never ending and is why I'm not in the game anymore!!!
Citizens Advice advisors also have to be qualified as do any other debt charity advisors. My question is is Sarah at Debt Camel an advisor or a journalist???? If she is an advisor she must be qualified and up to date with compliance rules. If she is a journalist then she has no right to tell anyone what to do and should be reported to the FCA.
So - what is she????

I am in no way an expert on the financial implications for Newmont and OMI when the next stages of the development occur, but I am confused as to why Newmont would buy shares in OMI to an amount where they would be major share holders. OMI is a stand alone company and is an explorer, not a miner and I know Newmont pay amounts to OMI for the privilege of being involved, so why doesn't Newmont just buy OMI out of the project for cash and let us go on our merry way, on to the next project wit our pockets full of Newmont's money???
We got the licences so if you want them then buy them off us!!!

Chris Smith and Linda Bauld have just done their Saturday morning piece and have said Covid 19 will be with us forever and that vaccinations for this may be needed annually. Nuvec, once it comes to the end of it's trial road and becomes approved should be able to replace sharps and should be easier to access than injections!!!! Time ticks by and Covid/cancer/any other illnesses where a delivery of medication is needed aren't going anywhere fast. Nuvec and N4 will have their day!!!
