We are heading for a global copper shortage of epic proportions in the next few years, major will be scrambling for any production and mines they can get their hands on, including this. The mill is already built so that will save any potential buyer millions that will be even more expensive due to inflation going forward. If we can prove up the resource it's got a for sale sign hanging over the company door.
Majors need reserves, they ain't going to wait until they run out of copper are they. Once it's operational it will get sold for the right price. The Bird has already been touting it to Robert Friedland.
In a previous interview with Roast, CB said they will likely need a JV to explore the massive land packages. That will unlock true value and would be a real winner, it would turn make a buyout at higher prices more realistic. Got 20 bagger all over it in the long term
I saw a recent interview with the CEO and he said he will not release information that they are not certain on as it gets them in trouble with AIM Regulators, take from that what you will but could be a cause for any delay.
I've experience similar in GSCU a copper exploration play. Until funding can be proved up this thing will bounce around like a yo-yo for the next 6 months even on good drill results, MMs can take this any direction they like. Just hold on tight and the market will bid it up in due course
Where platform are you guys buying the stock on? Interactive Brokers does not support the LSE ticker I have to buy via the Frankfurt Exchange on their under LMU1 ticker
I watched the interview, Sam didn't come across ecstatic which I liked, it is going to burner this but I think he knows what they have on their hands here.
