works perfectly well and has no anti-viral coating. Right?

Although I think it might be a good idea to possibly wear a mask whilst changing the filter?

That mask filters the virus it does not kill. Which rather nicely backs-up my point re HVAC filters.

And the answer from Volz’s customers was it doesn’t. It is not needed. There has clearly not been a spate of HVAC filter swappers keeling over with Covid. I mean on that basis why don’t we have anti-viral car tyres, to protect the tyre fitters??!!

But it’s not a danger for the life of the filter so how can that justify an extra cost?
