Trading While Insolvent:
In some rare cases, an AIM company might be allowed to continue trading while insolvent, but only if there's a reasonable prospect of the company avoiding liquidation and returning to solvency.
Wrongful Trading:
If directors continue to trade a company while knowing (or should have known) that there's no reasonable prospect of avoiding liquidation, and they fail to take steps to minimize losses for creditors, they could be found to have engaged in wrongful trading.
