Interesting an RNS can come out during the day, thought they were always 7am
No
Is that good or bad news, still a novice with this stock, thanks
Are those figures earnings after tax and expenses for the company??
What would that relate to a fair market cap compared to current market cap.
Will future earnings be an after thought with current or future investors /traders or will simply a great RNS be enough to seriously move this before folk get their calculators out and stock screener tools to work things out, is the question?
How much earnings will these tests bring in for this stock relative to the current market cap?
Why dont I trade them then you ask? cos of as I said the advantage american traders have of premarket and afterhours trading. it is virtually impossible to do in the UK with these american stocks so if a stock like this gets good news it will climb and climb hard, it will not open up 200% up and prevent you getting in, it wont have $20 million of trades premarket .You will get your chance to buy at 8am and maybe for the first 30 mins if you are an early riser.
AT the moment with all i have seen in nasdaq tiny biotechs in America, is after say 3-5 years listed in the market these stocks have seriously diluted, raised funds, etc but still not profitable .So why the huge spikes?????, one main answer is bottom feaders, traders know all the dilution is over, the stock is as rock bottom, Many US biotech were once worth say $40 and are now 50 cents, and traders targets these, as a jump from 50 cents to say $4-$6 is huge % move. I see this time and time again in the Nasdaq. But these moves only last one day !!!!
Thankyou, what you have to ask yourself is many folk are reading our posts and you have to be inside their minds, and ask, what price would they pay up to and what price would they sell for. AS their is no point posting "oh Im 50% down" or "oh I bought in at 11p" This has no relevance to what future traders are thinking here, They are thinking greed and fear, entry and exit, and it is for us to get inside their minds and work out the mentality of human behaviour of fear and greed.
Yes my main stock is alpha group interantional as it has almost perfect fundamentals, but very few know about it despite being worth £975 million, but i see nanocaps like this having huge movements, ( its a nanocap, not a microcap) simply cos of the low float, possible great news and trader mentality ( like I see in the nasdaq).
That is why bigger stocks worth say £1 billion move slower but more steadily wiht huge fund ownership. But with stocks like this , if you trade it right, you can use any profits towards you larger slower bigger cap stocks.
I am interested in this stock, based on the huge movements similar stocks like this move in the nasdaq and trying to compare it.
Obviously you cant compare to sound stocks like , illumina, bristol myers squibb, so you have to ask yourself, will the stock get bought out, will their be a massive spike with the tiny freefloat, what huge news is due, how long will folk own it, will it be mostly traders or investors.
Thats why i am asking is this a fundamentally sound company is it it manipulated with huge buys that only hold for say a day or two, or is their serious longterm holders here, as in fund ownership
Market screener website dot com, you register a name and email and you can view every stock in the world, normally 5 stocks a day, targets, financials, earnings, revenue, eps forecasts, insider ownership, fund ownership, trades, everything you want going back 5 years with up to one year forecasts on all financials as well.
you can pay a subscription for unlimited stock searches.
I do know the free float here is only 42%, where as normal ftse stocks is around 97%, that is why this stock moves hard and fast, that can be a good thing or bad, it means only relatively few buys moves it up easily, but one large sell can collapse the price fast.
I study the movements of nanocaps biotechs in the nasdaq as a hobby, I see stocks like this in the nasdaq jump 300% in a couple of hours, with trades totalling say $70-$100 MILLION, why ? either the short interest squeeze, meme stock, wall street bets, problem is with US nanocap biotech stocks is premarket trading and after hours trading as most buyers get in before opening hours and then sell up afterhours, many times have I seen a stock like this go up 300% in 2 hours then after hours it collapse 50%.
could it happen here on AIM i dont know, it needs a huge catalysts, huge amount of buys, massive short squeeze, very low free float of shares, wall street bets getting involved, meme stock etc.
Some questions, has the company diluted shareholders, does it have a healthy cash balance, what is the fair market price based on earnings and revenue compared to current market cap, thankyou
Alpha won it in 2022 and the 2023 winner will be announced on wed 7th June, Alpha is currently shortlisted, as we can see in my link --
https://awards.the-drawdown.com/shortlist
I believe from learning about alpha and watching interviews from the CEO that all growth has been organic, this allows no dilution or loans to fund growth, and keeps a very healthy balance sheet, i believe its around £180 million.
Some companies like to boast about their growth, but have done it via acquisitions that diluted holders.
That is why I prefer non diluted organic growth and as the CEO said, we are a high growth, profitable ,cash rich company.
