I never had the pleasure of meeting Mickey but over the last twelve years he has been a constant on these boards. I was a fan and feel that his presence will be hugely missed. He was a battle hardened veteran and has been with us shoulder to shoulder through thick and thin without once wavering during everything that has been thrown at us down the years.

He was a stalwart and never once lost his belief, he worked hard to study and understand the workings of the market to increase his holding in the company and pass on his knowledge to the rest of us.

His journey with GKP is now over and he didn't live to see the finishing line, but I'm in no doubt that his family will one day reap the reward of his endeavours and see his dream realised. They should be proud of him.

Rest in Peace MickeyAdmin I salute you.

LTHs PIs are fed up as GKP are forever not delivering but the BODs forever keep getting royally paid although they are not worthy of such remuneration . JF could have being asleep at the wheel and we would still be where we are now. The so called Accountant that pays the bills has being given a total of ( or will get 90K already sold at £180K ) 270K shares for little more than operating a Sage program that you'd normally get £20K for. The FD who has just arrived gets 733K shares and he only has limited experience , nothing like a top draw appointee. Meanwhile LTHs are still under water after getting chucked only 15% of the former wedge of the Co they owned in the restructuring mugging.

It's a long term incentive plan that was voted through by 67% of the votes cast at the Paris AGM in 2014. Sarah and Uncle Tony were both there, they were trying very hard to get on the right side of Simon Murray so they probably voted for it.

It seems that these days a salary isn't enough and people need to be incentivised with these schemes as well. They vest in the future if certain performance targets are met.

Back in the day people were incentivised by the threat of the sack.

It was voted through 2:1 so the shareholders agreed to it. Probably not a lot we PI's can do about it now.

These annual awards are apparently in accordance "with the agreed annual issue cycle which follows release of the Company's full year results".

"The LTIP was approved by Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited's shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 17 July 2014; this is the third award to be made under the LTIP and is in accordance with the agreed annual issue cycle which follows release of the Company's full year results. The awards are made to eligible employees of the wider workforce, including to employees in Kurdistan."

So ironic that Management are buying when the PI's are so p--ed off they are selling.

A reminder these bonuses are for someone who has 11 years work experience, look at the the other Management, all the same , not worthy of any extra payment on top of their already generous pay package.

Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited ("GKP" or the "Company") announces that on 10th January 2020 Nadzeya Kernoha, Head of Finance, exercised 90,000 nil-cost share options, granted to her in 2016 under the Company's Staff Retention Plan ("SRP"). Following the exercise, on 13th January 2020 Ms Kernoha sold the 90,000 shares at a price of 202.61p.

GKP is only her 2nd job and she has being awarded another 183K shares , a bonus for what GKP are doing nothing !! in fact they are going backwards. If I wasn't stuck under water I'd be out of here.

The head sloth Ferrier was never fit to be CEO and was simply appointed as the flunky of the bondholders. Totally unfit for purpose.

Taking 2% of the shares for doing b@@@@er all and reducing share holders % share by 85% is breath taking, no other Co will be anyway near this , if so who are they ?

I have added up the awards it is approx 4.6 million shares . Which is about 2% of 210 mill , there were 19,059,064 common shares held in Treasury from the buy back which was done with money that might have being returned to LTHs instead , but no ! , under JF it is more important to give out bonuses to people who would not get a job anywhere else as the Oil sector is on it's knees .

I might have understood it if Oil Cos were head hunting like mad but there is nothing going on . Not only that but some of the receivers of bonuses have done next to nothing not just at GKP but in their entire careers , they are green . Also how many of the bonus receivers are actually at home and have being Furlonged ?

It is shocking CCC especially after we were robbed in the restructuring , some say not but the fact that T5 were not spoken to and Simon Murray liked them was something else , that and the fact that the April notes were not due for another 9 months ( from memory). It really stinks. Rushed through after the AB PUT write down that only Sami knew about as it was Parabis bank where he had worked that wrote those notes for the Sothic bonds . It is a real mess and if there were any decency in the City they'd be an investigation but FSC have done nothing. We can only hope that justice will await them in the next life.

I was in contact with a family who had CV19 in Dec , I didn't get a heavy illness from it , I think herd immunity is more wide spread than they think .
