Yeah, presumably though the buyer can't exercise those rights because they weren't on the "record" as such:

If you sell before 8.00 a.m. on 7 February you are excluded

I have given my opinion on the possible reasons, hopefully management can confirm or it will become clear. Not sure what you want people to say we are all down 20% on paper today from yesterdays close, none of us wanted to place so cheaply given the choice (presumably including BoD with their options) but the BoD don’t control the SP and it was a pretty normal discount for a placing with unfortunate timing with the rise yesterday, that’s just how it is on AIM with a company deemed to be be more risky those taking part in placing expect a discount, we should also get a chance via the open offer to get some discounted shares this time at least. I believe there is long term value here with the assets we have so I intend to take part.

Worth remembering the bigger picture, we're now fully funded for 27% of Amapa with 20% ownership expected to be completed in the next few days.
