#1 All the evidence I have, points to deal completion very soon. This is also the impression I get from what Kiran has stated publically.
#2 Even if it took another three months (not saying it will) as long as the deal is done it doesn't really matter to me, I am happy to wait.
#3 The JRP is legally binding, the mine is responsible for 15,000 jobs in the economy, there is a huge political and economic incentive for this to get done. Creditors are being paid, ships are booked, ore is moving.
Nothing in the future is certain, I have never stated this as 100% but Kiran is highly confident and he knows far more than I do about this. I have always priced in a 5% probability of unforseen events preventing completion, I am very comfortable to the risk reward at this price as are you. It's best to try to remove emotion where possible and focus on the facts. This is a mine that Anglo valued at $660m, we have a legally binding agreement to take ownership of 27% of it, everything I've seen over the past few months support that.
