"Visas, etc... 1) This is an Interlocutory Appeal filed against r. decision rendered in the court-supervised reorganization records of the appellant. 2) Untimely appeal. The The appealed decision was made available in the Electronic Justice Gazette of 06.17.2021 (Thursday), considering it was published on 06.18.2021 (Friday) (doc. 12). The counting of the deadline started on 06.21.2021 (Monday) and ended on 07/05/2021, contrary to what the appellant maintains. As the appeal was filed on 07.12.2021, it characterized the untimeliness. The terms are counted in calendar and non-business days, according to art. 189, §1, I of Law 11.101/05. With the enactment of Law 14.112/2020, Statement XIV of the Reserved Chambers of Business Law ceased to be valid, with a special rule regarding the counting of deadlines. 3) Therefore, I don't know about the resource."

There are two filings on our main case on that day so it could be one of those, refencing sending payments and unblocking their bank account.

Absolutely mrc the deal needs to be done. The BoD each have 1.8 million reasons to get it done and we’re told it’s all agreed now so hopefully the RNS lands very soon. Even you have to agree we are heading in the right direction and much further forward now with ships sailing and Dev now operating, creditors being paid, court judgements coming through, companies registered etc.

@cmsammy it’s all in the JRP. There’s something like >5MT but Gerald Metals has a claim on most of it and Indo Sino also.
Indo Sino are converting their claim to equity in the project hence how this deal has all come about with our JV, the 1.39mt it’s what’s left at the port for Dev to ship to fund the project and pay creditors as per the JRP, there could end up being more at the mine but we need the railway in operation for it to be sold (as do Geralds).
Hopefully we should get an update from KPMG with some more details about the more recent movements.

@tc you’re probably right. I haven’t really researched beyond 27% as the upside is big enough without it for investment at the current share price to be more than worthwhile. I haven’t heard Kiran speak on the subject either but plenty of time for that once our feet are under the table.

The reason 49% is likely/possible is that Dev will need to obtain financing/investment to rehabilitate the mine. Indo may not want to (or may not be able to) finance that further investment, they will sell the 22% to fund the capital requirements of the 51% so they are effectively paying in equity rather than injecting cash. This is the point at which Cadence would seek a strategic investment from a company with deeper pockets (e.g Glencore). In my opinion of course.

It’s my share price target Barksy so not just Amapa but that is the majority of value in the estimate.
I agree profits could be higher or lower as it is of course dependant on shipping costs coming down and iron ore prices staying high. Just a ballpark number that would get you to the higher share prices. Personally speaking £1/share would make me very happy, anything beyond is a bonus. There may be equity raises in future to fund the project so some dilution to factor in to any share price predictions.

@barksy, If things go well £2-£5 is of course possible in time if 49% is achieved, but a realistic short term target is £1-£1.20. upon 20%/27% ownership of Amapa.
2-3 years time with Amapa in full production then it's a different story if it's making $100m+ a year then who knows, the £2-£5 range may well be achievable.

Let’s see what happens but I’d say we would want at least £1 per share once we have our 20%/27%. I do wonder if we could bring in a strategic investor for the 49% equity stake (e.g Glencore).
There has been a lot of interest in car makers securing lithium supplies.
China are also wanting to reduce dependency on Australia. Interesting times and the EV revolution is only just beginning.

It's surely better to sell to them, than try to work with them? We will of course be bedfellows if and when the BCN takeover is done.

It's not out of the question that it would be a free shot at Amapa with our market cap at <£40m, a £20m+ buyout for our JV stake from Ganfeng, £15m in EMH £.5m Macarthur + our $2.5m in Escrow would mean the other JVs and Amapa are not then priced in at all.

Alternative possible scenario, EMH does an offtake deal with VW or Tesla, their SP doubles, our stake is then worth £30m.

Add both together and then add Amapa deal done and it looks very promising.
